I don’t exactly understand what happened, let’s just say if traveling with a briefcase was comparable to riding a bike… Traveling with Five could be comparable to riding a unicycle with a flat tire.

I don’t know how long I was inside that energy surge, all I knew is that I was holding Klaus’ hand on one side and Diego’s hand on the other until a wave of electricity made us let go of each other. 

It felt like going down an endless slide for the longest time until I finally hit the floor. 

My first thought was “thank God, I’m alive”, but then it hit me… I was also alone.

- Klaus! Five! Diego! - I screamed as the portal closed above me without spitting out any of my siblings - Oh no no no! Klausie! Klaus! 

I looked around, the world seemed fine, no apocalypse in sight, so there was that, but where was I? It looked like an alleyway, but that’s pretty much all I could recognize. I got on my feet and dusted off the concrete bits from my outfit. 

It was a beautiful day, not a single cloud in the sky. I saw a movie theatre across the street, the sign on top read “West Side Story”, I smiled, maybe I should go see that, it’s one of my favorite musicals.

When I turned around to check behind me, I saw a man through the window, he had a camera and was trying to hide behind the curtains.

- Hey, you! What the hell are you doing?
