In case anyone doesn't know Timo Kaltio, he was a guitarist in some bands like Hanoi Rocks, Cherry Bombz, Cheap & Nasty and others.(He passed away on September 2, 2021)

• Izzy and Timo met when Izz arrived alone at a Hanoi Rocks concert in the Midwest of the United States.With no money to see the concert or return home, Timo gets him a backstage pass and pays for his bus ticket so he can return home after Izzy helped him set up Andy McCoy's guitars. From what people say, they remained friends.

Hello everyone, dear Gnr community, how have you been?.I don't usually publish because I'm just a small medium for some interviews or stories about the band.(mostly about Izzy Stradlin)

However, I am a VERY active person on Tumblr, I'm browsing here all the time, and thanks to that I have noticed a lot of hate in the Guns'n Roses community, for some reason many Anonymous people have appeared to throw hate at Gnr accounts.

All of this is causing many to leave this app, it really is something so sad, knowing that there are not many of us who publish here about rock and Gnr, (I know there are accounts, but the ones that were most active are filling up). It is sad to see how all those people full of poison and hatred achieve their goal.

I just ask that if you see someone who is receiving hate from those cowardly people, leave a sweet message on their account, obviously if you don't feel comfortable just do it in the options anon or just give it a heart on a post , just by leaving your support in some way you show that account that there are more people who are interested in what it publishes.

♫ A headache ♪⁠

In an interview with the former guitarist of the band Izzy and the Ju Ju Hound, he told an anecdote about Izzy and an annoying fan.

-One day at a concert somewhere in Australia, we were being escorted by some security guys, we noticed a fan who was magically appearing at every venue we played.

He kept yelling "IZZY, IZZY LOOK AT ME", Izzy was tired of it so he turned to a security guard and said "Can you hit the guy over there who's been asking for the same thing for a week?"

do you know when izzy started doing drugs?

As far as I know, Izzy started taking drugs when she was around 20 or 21, that would be in the early 80s (About when he went to L.A for the first time).

That's what I came to know, but if anyone knows anything else, please share your information.

The 'Hard Rock Café' is a fast food chain with a rock theme, reaching various parts of the world. In them you can find instruments or clothing, which some rockestars used.

In Curaitiba Brazil, there is one of these cafes and there is an Izzy guitar there.

I was on Reddit, looking for some interesting stories to tell about Izzy or Guns n' Roses. In the posts about Izzy, all I found were men putting Izzy down and that he was not that talented, since his solo work is considered mediocre.

On Reddit they have some kind of anger with Izzy and Steven.

There really is nothing that satisfies people.

♫Conflict with the reunion♪⁠

Probably most of you know this, but I think it's not a bad idea to tell it again.

When the return of the original members of GNR was planned.When they were already confirming who would be there, it was announced that Izzy would not be on this tour and things began to be speculated.

Axl and Duff gave an interview where they talked about the reunion that the old members had. In all this, Axl confused people when he said the reason why Izzy would not be in the reunion.

Axl:"I don't know what to say about Izzy, it's like having a conversation that goes one way and the next day it goes the other way. It's not that I want to be mean to him, it's just that he is like that."

However, Izzy didn't agree with what Axl said and he answered.

Izzy:'"That's a lie, they didn't want to share the loot equally. Better to move on."

One of the speculations that was said, is that at one point, when they were about to reach an agreement and have everyone go on the tour, one of them asked for more money(Axl, Duff or Slash). I note that this is repeated a few times, but I don't really see it as confirmed, take it as you will.

An interview in the beginning

I found an interview from the beginning of the band. I'm bringing it here so you can see a bit of the humor and sarcasm that Izzy had.

Axl spoke most of the interview in a low, somewhat serious voice, while Izzy was in the background making comments like:"We don't care about that", "That's a stupid question", "Next" or "Fuck your interview".

On the other hand, Duff seemed drunk, Steven was trying to flirt with a girl who was there and Slash seemed to be the mediator trying to solve the band's problems.

The interviewer (a woman) began to ask the ages of the members, everyone looked seriously at each other, until they spoke:

Axl:"Sure, we'll reveal our ages."

Duff:"Yeah, we don't care, I'm nineteen years old"

Axl:"I am twenty-four"

Slash:"No, Duff is twenty-two and I'm nineteen"

Izzy:"This is really not relevant..."

Slash:"Come on, say it..."

Izzy:"Axl isn't twenty-four, he's a million years old! He's seen it all!"

The interviewer: "Now let's go with the real ages"

Izzy:"What about the shit about ages? We don't care about that shit"

Slash:Izzy is twenty-three and Steven is twenty-one"

Izzy:"Write that for the Rainbow, so they'll let us through."

(...)

Slash:"Yes, I mean...I loved my dog"

Izzy:"But then the dog died and now he has Steven!"

Steven:"Oh fuck you!"

Izzy and his paranormal experience

In 2001, Izzy gave an interview to Metal ls-2001. In this interview, they was asked if he had ever had any paranormal experiences.

Below I will quote Izzy's words as best I can, really most of his story is not understood nor is what he wanted to tell us (damn Izzy):

Izzy: I have had experiences that altered the out-of-body state, most of them were caused by drugs. I do meditation now and I find it very important. You know what? I try to practice it at least twice a day and I don't always get it, but I found that I can get into a similar state and feeling to what opiates gave me, and of course there is no hangover.(...) But there was one time when I was sure I was about to overdose, well I was experimenting with opiates for the first time.I was lying there while a song by "The Who" was playing on the radio, I remember it was "Teenage Wasteland". I went back on the opiates, which made me feel like I had trouble breathing, probably my lungs were closing down, although that didn't really happen and I remember waking up, It was like "agasp-uhhhh!". That was all weird, really scary.

It was the closest thing I had to something strange for me. A strange experience and probably not a good one!

♫ Izzy and his ex-girlfriends ♪⁠

Mark Canter, ex photographer of the band (Duff considered him a sixth member because he was one of the few who believed in GNR when they were nothing), He was making a book about the band in 1985, they started with a draft first and the band showed great interest in it.

Izzy being our beautiful boring boy (it just a joke, silly),he did not show any interest in this book and didn't check the photos that the book would contain, so he left that meeting, but he came back to give it a "second check".Mark had the great idea of playing a prank on Izzy, telling him that he invited TWO of his ex-girlfriends that day , so that the book would be more Informative.Izzy just run of the place and he didn't contribute to the book.

15 years after what happened, Izzy was on a call with Mark, Izz told him he was interested in collaborating on the book, but the supposed invitation from the ex-girlfriends scared him.
