This comic rings SO true. As someone who moved to a different country and connected with no one for 2 years in my school, some of the best advice I can give you is its not you and it almost never is. Even if people who are nice, good friends to others doesnt mean that you’re in the wrong if you cant befriend them. Introspection is good, but changing yourself because you believe you’re an inherently weird, overly flawed person is never the answer.

Find your people and stop trying to not be yourself around ‘friends’ that aren’t. You are unique! You are interesting, even if you dont think so! And someone will see that.

New Introduction

Hello there everyone! Thought I'd remake my introduction because it's been quite a while and I wanted to give my blog a fresh look. :) I go by Mira here and I am a Korean-American artist living in France. English is my native language, but I speak French and some Spanish as well, so feel free to reach out in either of those.

Some fandoms I'm in are The Owl House and Amphibia, but I'm also a major bookworm and watch lots of other things as well. I'm still in school, and a minor, so I'd appreciate no 18+ content requests/ interactions. I'm currently working on a webcomic I plan to release in January and I'll be posting my illustrations and doodles here. I have a Youtube with the same handle as my Tumblr, but there's nothing on there.

I've been re-watching Little Witch Academia recently, and I think Akko is one of my favorite protagonists. :) She gives me teddy bear vibes for some reason. I tried some new shading, so feedback would be appreciated!

Eeeee finally finished my first illustration on krita :))) Sweater based off the beautiful work of Ýr Jóhannsdóttir (Icelandic artist) (link below) I found her while researching knitting for my final project and she makes really cool stuff.
