I know that Doctor Who looks so intimidating to people that don't watch it. they think the lore is so complex because its been running for so long but in reality it's basically just Scooby-Doo where they have like a VAMPIRE and then they take its mask off and it's just an alien and the alien is like "I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling doctor" and go to their home planet and that's it and that's all that matters

ok I have to say I wish people would stop going on about how gabe "isn't abusive enough" in the new show

two: so far he is almost exactly how my piece of shit father is and it's really frustrating seeing people dismissing his financial and emotional abuse as something not "bad enough" it took me 20 yrs to figure out that what was happening was not normal and not ok. so everybody needs to just take a chill pill and stop seeing other forms of abuse as just "shitty behavior" and if the show decides to not show physical abuse and just sticks with what we've seen it would be great if we all accepted it and didn't start ranting about "disney censorship"

Cartoons messed people up on what rabies looks like. Ppl think of a rabid animal and assume it's always snarling and frothing at the mouth and ready to attack. Rabid animals can appear really friendly because they lose human fear and they might approach you supposedly looking for food. It might look like a deer stumbling in circles and limping and falling over as if it's injured and disoriented. Might looks like a fox repeatedly trying and failing to stumble to its feet and unable to pick its head up. Their brains are melting. They might seem angry but they might also seem confused or injured or in need. But if you try to help that injured crying fox you could end up getting bit by an animal that's basically already dead and then your brain will melt too
