Baby, I'm standing at the great abyss of love and...and I'm teeterin'!
Risky Business
Alrighty let's go!
As for the plot and all the important bits, this movie was just eh for me, but that doesn't mean it's a bad movie, it just means that I'm allergic to heterosexuality. Pacing was a bit slow but there were a lot of bold choices in the filmmaking devices/motifs/directing style, so I respect that if anything.
As for the 80s vibes/aesthetic however, this movie had it ALL. Outfits, music, location, you name it. All super fun and enjoyable for me. So I'd count that as a win.
There was also an ICONIC pair of Ray Bans! Which, as they're my namesake, I HAVE to mention them. Glorious.
...And I would by lying if I said I wasn't getting MAJOR gender envy from baby TC rockin a stupid red tee shirt and cutoff jean shorts. That's the whole vibe I want to have fr.
(Speaking of baby TC, he was so small in this movie I was afraid someone was going to accidentally crush him under their shoe. And his laugh was very cute and endearing. It was also very nice to see Prince Thomas Hollywood Movies Man being not so great at acting. It gave me a lot of confidence to remember that we all start somewhere).
Thanks for the suggest!

I said it before, and I’ll say it again. Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

No, I do not wish I was. I can appreciate a time period and be grateful for the rights I (mostly) have today at the same time. LGBTQIA friendly blog. TERFS fuck off.
