Well, there’s a Hunter J with her laser-armed ship and hand-mounted energy gun, Lawrence III with his artillery-armed Flying Palace, Zero’s Megarig have some sort of energy beam cannon (used to paralyse Giratina so he can be easily put in the scanner), Team Rocket have battle tanks and combat helicopters (tanks - “It’s Mr. Mime Time!”, helicopters can be seen in the first movie) and even Rocket Trio used rocket launcher with HE rockets several times. Why don’t any bad guys in pokemon carry guns. This one guy is okay with glassing the entire earth but he won’t shoot a child.

If the demo was made on the base of a full version, then it was the very same reason why there are beta versions of the Hall of Origin and Sky Pillar in the Gen 4 games along with finished versions and many non-used carryover items - they just didn’t bother/forgot to remove it.

I know it, especially his not-omnipotentness (and when I see a fic with Arceus Almighty, I immediately see a lazy writing). It’s just a way to explain such a amount of Alpha Pokemons and, you know, cram this dex entry (which may contain a false information) into a gameplay. However, I do not want to play it this way in my fic, so, there is only one Arceus in it - not omnipotent, not really that powerful (no more than in anime) and definitely NOT the best parent ever (though not the worst either). Also, during the Johto arc, Satoshi recognizes Lugia. The only time he could see Lugia before it was during the events of the second movie. The same with Aura abilities from the Lucario movie - he uses them (albeit passive ones) to track down Riolu in “Pokemon Ranger! The Wave-Guiding Riolu!! (Part 2)”.

@bringsyouwings Just because Satoshi doesn’t remember/act like he remembers stuff from the movies doesn’t mean they don’t happen. He acts like that with stuff from previous episodes and nobody claims they don’t happen. I mean he was chased around by Dogas for how long and then had to look it up upon seeing one later. I’m also pretty sure he acts like he doesn’t remember Pokémon that HE’S HAD.

Yeah the Victini movie is a weird case but I imagine they still went to the same place and met the same people. That’s really the only one with any issue though. Even there being a second Mewtwo is covered since Masaki knows about the first one and there likely being a massive paper trail at Rocket HQ about it.

Considering the fact, that Lusamine is pretty much Ragyo Kiryuin’s Alola form, I’m very afraid, that this may’ve been something similar to the “purification”, and I wish I’m mistaken. Either way, whatever has happened with Lillie, was similar to the Ragyo’s “purification” in terms of plot impact.

Pokemon SM08

So… Apparently Lillie is still the same rich kid we know, and something traumatic happened during her time living with Lusamine that led to her being afraid of touching Pokemon, probably the Type: Full experiments or Ultra Beasts attacking. Gladion is still missing, probably trying to help Type: Null, and Lusamine is working in her other mansion, aka researching Ultra Beasts.

Which makes me wonder if the Sun and Moon anime is actually a pre-Lillie finding Nebby story, where she’s gets over her fears of Pokemon by the start of the games. It would also explain why the others aren’t Trial Captains yet. They haven’t gotten the announcement/approval/appointment. 

(Ash has very few derp faces this episode. Which is good.)

Weird dream is even weirder

Today, I’ve had a even more weird dream than before. Like a previous one that I’ve wrought about, it was mostly composed of random events, but I remember a Cipher agent (who happened to be a Shadow Lugia, cloaked somewhat like a Latias in the movie) teaching me and a lot of other people lesson about a Shadow Pokemon creation process, while I was silently hacking a computer, which was on my table, complete with Deus Ex: Human Revolution’s hacking GUI. For some reason, I was required to cancel the hack, and that was the moment when “teacher” revealed his true nature, but, unlike most people would expect, it was non-violent - he was very close to the Shadow Pokemon’s dex depiction and had next to no emotions, although his true form’s vocal voice was pretty threatening because of how growling it was, but his reveal of his true form felt like it was “me as example” moment. Fortunately, no panic began, so the lesson continued. Also, I remember some moments with Faridah Malik/Adam Jensen relationships in different places, which’ve implied, that he completely broke up with Megan Reed, who’ve cheated on him with Jaron Namir and Bob Page, and fell in love with “fly-girl”, which he’d saved a year or so ago, and, according to some data passing by, it was after David Sarif’s ending. Also, there was a moment with a big underwater map, on which was depicted a lot of things: fallen rockets (including two “Energia” rockets with boosters and “Buran” orbiters still on them), sunk ships and, most interesting, some Xbox huge underwater installation, which was marked as an oil development station, but left impression of a some kind of Cipher’s fortress complete with Deus Ex Panchaea technology, specificially, Hyron Project. Looks like I’ve played way too much Deus Ex and Pokemon yesterday.
