Top: in the Nintendo Switch version of Super Mario RPG, the console played by the Toad in the Mushroom Kingdom inn that sells the Beetle Mania minigame to Mario is fully modeled. It is almost certain that this is a reference to the fact that the original version of the game was released on the SNES; though it is unknown why the developers made this reference impossible to see in-game.
