My completely baseless Volume 2 hopes:

I want Steve to either die and come back later or be presumed dead, like maybe after Nancys cliffhanger at the end of V1 he gets stuck in the upside down?? Idk, I just want to see peoples reactions but not have it be permanent.

A main character becomes a villain, absolutely nothing for this has been set up but the storyline opportunities are unmatched. Maybe someone who’s been to the upside down becomes corrupted in some way. Idk.

Little to no focus on romantic relationships, all the focus on the found family.

Another character being confirmed as queer.

Leave behind some kind of mystery about the upside down, I hate the idea that it’s just been one guy behind it the whole time, I hope they at least hint towards something bigger working behind the scenes.

Big character reunion before the final episode, I’ve always hated how these characters who are supposed to be best friends will somehow have absolutely no communication between each other until a dramatic scene at the end of the season.

if i were able i would have written the socioeconomic political drama about the new rome and the hell it would take to actually rule it and the twelfth legion. like. child army and a CITY.

i would write it all solely for one scene, where reyna and jason, no longer praetors, are reclining on the sofas drinking hot chocolate and gleefully watching octavian, now appointed praetor, burn himself out trying to control this mess. his partner is lickspittle he took up only because they didn't pose any threat to him.

sure he has some family ties but did he know how much it took to terrify half of the cohorts into obedience and how much it took to persuade the other half? did he? noooo, he genuinely thought that being a praetor would mean that he can shirk his duty and just get to boss people around.

now he's running himself dry to make the third cohort stop partying and spending too much, ban the fourth cohort from experimenting without reading even a basic training on safety, and trying to make the first cohort actually do something about the second constantly blowing up parts of the camp and the city.

Had an absolutely INSANE void state experience last night.

So basically I was in bed and was affirming stuff like “I am void” and “I am pure consciousness” and then I get this idea that I should talk directly to the universe. So I ask the universe to give me a sign if it is listening to me and I shit you not that I suddenly feel like I’m floating and raising out of my bed.

So then I ask the universe to take my hand and guide me out of my body, and my hand just starts to move outwards completely on its own?? Like I had no control over it at all. Then I feel like my soul is being sucked out of my body and if floating away from me.

I was so massively freaked out that I completely lost focus and ended up putting my hand down by myself, but oh my days it was the weirdest experience I’ve ever had.

I’m obviously going to try again tonight because in all the time I’ve been attempting this I’ve never had such visceral results. Has anyone else experienced something like this??
