Most infuriating part of writing is having an idea and thinking oh, this is gonna be so good and wanting to IMMEDIATELY share the vision with other people because it's gonna be good but then you start writing it down and - it is gonna be good. Except. It is also gonna take so, so, so long to finish. And in the meantime. You are the only one with The Vision. Alone. Losing your mind. 😭

We’re back! 

Last October, I held a small event to celebrate my birthday and may have promised to bring it back during my blog anniversary this year. It’s a bit late, as the anniversary was supposed to happen early March, but after all the support and love you’ve given me, and your kind help during my troubled time, I decided to still hold this small(er) event to celebrate and show my gratitude. sometimes i understand why yoongi didn’t aspire to be to be an idol and only wanted to be bts’ faceless behind the scenes guy entirely at first (many people actually don’t know this) since he is evidently far too contemplative and comfy to be out there doing hobi levels of sweaty choreo and loud social interaction for hours. but othertimes i get why bighit wanted him to become more than a producer so bad and went through with it. they were literally so confident yoongi could do it, simped like crazy for him, just said okay you’re a public rapperman now like just move your mouth and we’ll slay and they were right.

i think it’s because yoongi not only underestimates himself often, but is even more well-rounded than people give him credit for, even if he ain’t perfect. he has the voice, the musical skills, the sweet looks, the fashion, the laissez-faire, the big heart, the mental stance, the intelligence, the street smarts, the life experience, and a feeling for creating sexy badass alter ego concepts that stand out. yoongi has a hard time pretending to be anything, takes no shit even though he’s shy, and he is abundantly generous, which is why he comes across as genuine and easy to relate to. i’m glad he didn’t stay a hidden songwriter, it’d be a loss.
