As a paramedic, Ratchet's alt mode in tfp driving around Jasper is hilarious to me.

We usually know who is on what ambulance unit and where the other ambulances are. They have GPS trackers on them/on the ambulance's phone, so dispatch can see where they are. Jasper is a small town, so their EMS/Fire dept is likely small as fuck. So the first responders all likely know each other and what's going on.

NO ONE can track this weird ass ambulance. Dispatch has no idea where it came from.

The other medics in Jasper being like "what fucking unit is that" or "what THE FUCK." There's no department marking or star of life on Ratchet's alt's exterior, but it has lights and sirens. Which is fucking illegal.

The other first responders talk about the Mysterious Unknown ambulance that is OCCASIONALLY spotted like a fucking cryptid. It becomes an inside joke/urban legend.

I get to talk star wars (and other fandoms) with the kids I work with from time to time and I have to tone it back because if I share every random fact I know with them my coworkers will think I'm very odd

star wars fans are so funny bc like you can mention a background clone character who shows up in like, two episodes at most, and there will be some fangirl who's memorized his wiki page, has a pinterest fan page dedicated to him, and ships him with riyo chuchi

He is actually quite difficult to draw, he has some very prominent features and they are quite difficult to get right, this is actually my second attempt at him

Flying to Italy and finding the exact field to recreate the picnic scene was pretty amazing. The costume took me a month to make 😮‍💨 it was so nice to shoot it in THE field!!

you know, i have this whole schpeel in my head that i need to yap about.

the kudos-to-hits ratio in fanfic is way off.

i'm not only saying this as a writer, but as a reader too.

if you like a fic, even mildly like it, leave kudos. if the first few chapters are kinda meh but you think it can get better, leave kudos. if there's even one bit that you think was kinda enjoyable, leave kudos.

you don't need to have an account to leave kudos. it doesn't cost money, it doesn't take extra effort. it is literally pressing a button when you get to the end of your fic.

and for people who "don't want their account attached to that fic" that's bullshit. you're literally talking to strangers on the internet. i doubt they care about you reading smutty fanfiction.

i have more to say, but in summation, people just need to leave kudos.
