wrote a poem at school today (not for anything, just had spare time), and like... i think it actually kinda (emphasis on kinda) goes hard. also this is probably going to be the best poem I ever write.
Knife
By Max J.
A knife;
Flailing,
Heart racing.
Stab,
The blood flowing,
Tears showing
Signs of pain and grief.
Assign the finder’s keep.
Major creep;
Love their God and hate their kids.
Flip the lid,
Filling them with hating id;
Hating kid.
Fainting fight,
Fading light,
down a flight of stairs of painted fright.
Message and Statement
This poem is NOT about any abusive experiences I may have had (I have not had any, anyways), but instead it is about the massive amount of queerphobia in the world and how so much of it is from religion. The last few lines are about how it will be very hard to ever really “end” (though “marginalize” would be a better word) queerphobia. (also, it was stream-of-consciousness style so half of this message is bs. but whatever.) (also also, feel free to use this in any projects where you need to use bits of poems or analyse a poem or whatever, i think that’d be rad. (also also also, tell me, it would make my day))
do it scared <- litany against avoidance
if it sucks hit da bricks <- litany against sunk cost
take it easy but take it <- litany against burnout/apathy cycle
fuck it we ball <- litany against perfectionism
now say something beautiful and true <- litany against irony poisoning

also. learned that "were" (of "werewolf") meant man/male, and thus there's another word for woman/female, "wif", whick is the origin of the "wo-" in woman (wif man), and "man" was just. person. this has been my ted talk, thank you wifs, weres, and men. (also wifwolves and manwolves are things. i declare it to be so. because why not)

mia, I’m doing a project for world history where I have to pick a quote and make an illuminated manuscript out of it, and so I went ‘hey what if I still did the lettering in calligraphy’ and now I’m learning how to write calligraphy but only with micron pens and this is all I have so far
