Truth
I hate when people tell me I need to ‘get out of my comfort zone’ I don’t even have a comfort zone. I am literally always uncomfortable
This form of combat is modern day gladiator arena! I did not believe this existed!
Set them up, and knock them down
Okay - math - right?
If your mom was 20 when she bore you, you are 20 years younger than your mom. Right when you were born, she was like infinity times older than you. But then when you are 10, she is now 30. And she is only 3 times older than you. Then 10 years later you are 20, and she is 40, she is only 2 times older than you. Which means while you are always 20 years apart, you are actually decreasing the age gap.
When you are 30 she is 50 = 5/3rds
When you are 40 she is 60 = 1.5
When you are 50 she is 70 = 7/5ths
When you are 100 she is 120= 1.2
When you return to dust and fossils at 1000 she is 1020 = 1.02
Which means you’ll always be 20 years apart, but the percentage of difference is a horizontal asymptote at 1. Epiphany.
So this has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it three days ago.
