Having to invest in a cargo container for storage. Unexpectedly moving after 20 years at this house. I'm lucky in that I have a safe place to keep this container, and save myself at least $425 - $450 a month at a storage place. These 40 footers in good shape were going for $1800 a couple of months ago but the price has jumped to $2600 for a good one or a POS if you're not careful. Also monthy for this size is $75 plus tax a month compared to as much storage space at a self storage facility at the well over $400 a month price range.
