Bank of Palestine is leading an initiative along with Taawon Association to distribute hot meals to displaced Palestinians in Gaza. Taawon are facilitating the donation collection which you can do through their website here.

You might be able to catch Mahmoud Abuzaiter's coverage on his Instagram of the distribution of those meals yesterday on his stories. Otherwise, Taawon's donation page has more details of the work they have done so far in Gaza.

look. i’m sick and fucking tired of seeing such horrible and inhumane responses to the global strike for palestine happening this week. it’s not just some “tumblr phenomenon”. nobody is forcing you to take off work. nobody is forcing you to take off school. use your brains and figure out that the strike is for justice in palestine. the point is to DO WHAT YOU CAN. even if that just means reblogging posts, telling a friend who might be able to do more, participate in the boycotts, make informative posts yourselves. i know that is all do-able to the majority of you. have a heart. this is not supposed to be comfortable. this is not supposed to be nice. innocent lives in Gaza are being killed by the second and the strike is to keep up the pressure for a ceasefire. Free Palestine BDS BOYCOTT LIST "No Thanks" APP

Let me put yall on something real quick! This app lets you scan and search products to see if they are on the BDS boycott list or not!

This is what it looks like in the app store.

When you open the app you will be given this screen where you can search for brands and products.

After scanning the barcode or searching for a brand you will be shown one of two popups.

The app will tell you if the product or brand is part of the boycott. For this example I used Kraft and Snyder's.

The app also has a link to donate directly to Palestinian organizations at the bottom of these screens as well as further information about the BDS Boycott.

Please share this resource and use it to double check any purchases.

I know many of us are taking part in a massive strike and are trying to stop/limit spending as much as possible, but this is a great resource to double check where the money you spend on necessities goes.
