Continuation of this post, as you have been waiting! Sanemi can't see color.
The question seems strange and unexpected to Giyuu, for a moment he wants to ask Sanemi himself what it is for, but such unexpected joy in the form of a simple act of communication overshadows this thought, forcing him to answer a few seconds later.
"Dark blue."
Dark blueβ¦
Sanemi barely restrains himself from swallowing, so that the movements of his Adam's apple do not give away how this answer excites him, making his veins tense.
Dark blue, like the ocean itself, he thinks. Like the evening sky before it is covered by rain clouds, like the waves of the sea that he saw a couple of times as a child and was simply amazed by the beauty and powerful force of water. Perhaps like those precious stones, sapphires, that he saw in the hairpins of wealthy ladies that sometimes came across in the neighborhood where his family lived. Dark blue, just like that strange blue tea, anchan, if his memory served him right.
The Wind Pillar clutches the hilt of the katana on his hip, trying to calm his wild imagination, which still remembered the colors he had seen as a child.
Oh, Buddha, how he wanted to see the eyes of that idiot Tomioka now.
To see if the blue of his eyes could shine. Had his eyes ever shined before? He thought so, yes, it was possible.
Sanemi stares at Giyuu so hard that Giyuu tilts his head uncertainly in silent question, not understanding what he had done wrong in answering the question. And Sanemi himself continues to study those confused eyes, their depth and shades of gray, imagining what they really were.
He so wants to believe that they are the deepest color of the purest sapphires, like in the fairy tales he told his siblings.
Yes⦠These are the kind of eyes that the Water Pillar should have.
"I wish I could see them." He whispers, causing Giyuu to involuntarily look away, embarrassed and unsure of what it was, while the Wind Pillar grins, baring his fangs.
the only thing inside my head rn is uni and spiderman-sanemi
the speed and grace of a cat⦠I SEE IT
To the people who think Sanemi is desperate for Kanae's attention and is always casing after her...

So, don't let my fish brain work, ahaha
Art by my dear friend and artist Neon Naga, thank you very much for drawing my girl!
Her name is Vales, like my nickname among my close friends, and her appearance was based on mine, except that she doesn't have the tattoo on her body that I have. Vales is a half-breed, the offspring of a human woman and a demon father, who in my AU was once the Upper Five, but more on him in a bit.
Vales is not exactly a traditional Japanese name, yes, she has northern origins, her family once came to Japan, looking for a new life. Unfortunately, the relationship with her mother did not work out well, and a few years before coming of age, Vales runs away from her, leaving her family to either die in any ditch or find hope and her place. By chance, during her short wandering in one of the inns in the mountains, she learns about her hidden part when the place is attacked by a demon. She survives, defeating the demon, but this new side of her clearly scares her.
However, as a half-breed, she is not susceptible to the same damage from the sun as normal demons, but she can still feel unwell. She does not need to feed on human flesh to live, at least she believes so, for her, eating a human is an unforgivable act. She is quickly found out by the Corps, and when she appears before Ubuyashiki, she is offered to become a slayer. After all, there really is a reason for this, is it better than having her in their ranks of demons and her potential being revealed in a different direction?
Vales is trained by Urokodaki-san, since she is closest to the Breath of Water, but you can tell by her. Her father was a demon who used demon blood magic, bonding himself with water, and actually looked like a sea oni. She inherited some of his traits, and her haori, mask, and nichirin katana perfectly reflect her connection to water.
As for her personality, gods, that poor girl. She's trying not to let down her new adopted family in the Corps, and is slowly learning to open up to other people, which is difficult, especially considering she's the offspring of a demon. But she'll get along great with Nezuko, believe me. She had a younger sister before she ran away, and Komado's sister reminds her of her, which makes her heart warm.
Well, thanks for listening to my nonsense out of my head about my girl!
So, I miscalculated a bit with the joints, so the bodies don't fit the heads very well, but that's a minor thing.
Sanemi, who is based on the work @peachdues "Compass"! I am very excited about your fanfics, so I couldn't help but try this image for Shinazugawa!
Giyuu is frozen and dresses like me for work, poor thing.
20/fem/fish I am an awkward artist and writer, sometimes I do music processing but rarely. My love is the Ocean, Dragons and Stars. I am 20 and I am a creature obsessed with various fandoms, with whom you can communicate. Glad to see you on my blog!
