Length: I do about a paragraph or two per response, but the intro to a scene is nearly always much longer. I try to do quality > quantity! You can do more or less, I just need something to hook onto

Genres: No preference really! I love, angst, whump, fluff, and hurt/comfort in particular though. I love when characters go through terrible things to drag themselves out of it with grit teeth, with or without help Deep conversations between our characters while they have a drink and think about life,, that too, kill for it

That quieted the lizard, though the moth gave a groan as he flopped himself upon the ground

"Do we really gotta? We've been out here for- who knows how long, and nothings appeared yet?"

"Yet." Sighed out. Finally accepted by the moth, with a grumble

According to the lovecraft wiki theres also a Darkness but I don't know much of them, nor the stories they're from (hell, they don't even have an appearances page)

So either is a possibility, or something entirely new (more likely)

Is the Mother Darkness Shub-Niggurath?

She's the only eldritch god I can think of explictly shown as female, and a mother no less. Some associations with black and darkness, being The Black Goat of The Woods and all

She's also dead in the present, but Arthur's in the past, is he destined to kill her?

Plus, from the transcript:

My only counterpoint in this is like,,, she was wiped from reality, I don't remember off-hand if it was from the past like she never existed? But her murals were still there, and I don't remember what episode that was in
