("The time they fucked offscreen"? Which one?)
well... let's just say I was in a mood for watching a good western one night, watched the dollars triology (and then some) and since then me and my gf have been on a journey.
Absolutely fell in love with Mr. Van Cleef and fully immersed ourselves in the romance of one meddling brat boy and the one wholesome light-of-my-life colonel Douglas.
I implore you, I'm begging go watch "For a few dollars more" bc the only thing missing in this movie is a kiss (but you can definitely pinpoint the time they fucked offscreen). Otherwise it's basically a western romance with a good end.
This happened btw
why did i have to be fixated on clint eastwood westerns why couldnt it be sonic or batman or something
Dhdbdndn coming from that last post you made abt trans Mortimer - I'd like to agree and raise you trans Sentenza, because only someone who's not cisgender would pick a noun (a feminine one at that) as their name. βοΈ
(it's like the predecessor - the great grandfather if you will - of naming yourself Arson nowadays))
This is so amazing, and you're so right. Thank you for sharing this exquisite bit of unique thinking with us, Anon, we love you for this.
(All the LVC characters are trans btw)
It is Janurary 9th, 2025, and Lee Van Cleef would have turned 100 today.
Let's take some time to remember and appreciate this man for not just his iconic/gorgeous looks or however you would like to remember them, but his underrated talent, his incredible roles, good bad or neither, and him as a person as well.
He was a man who struggled a lot while he was alive. He faced many injuries and problems throughout his 64 years of life, which included drinking problems, a car accident, heart problems, throat cancer, and more.
However, despite many personal problems, Lee Van Cleef has also been able to do and has done positive things as well. Van Cleef was a war hero during World War II. He worked as a sonarman in the US Navy and was assigned to the USS Incredible minesweeper and performed sweeping duties and air-sea rescue patrols. Similar to Clint Eastwood, Van Cleef was also very versatile with his characters. He made them interesting, engaging, and complex, and you can't help but appreciate them.
Here are some of our favorites from Lee Van Cleef!
He truly was the best of the bad. Happy birthday, Mr. Van Cleef.
Eat up, y'all cuz I put myself to WORK on this one π£π₯π―
