I’ve seen it too many times. It’s incredibly annoying now so I can’t just say nothing.

When someone calls out transandrophobia, anti-transmasculinity, whatever you’re inclined to call it, and the person who did it is a trans man or transmasc themselves? I need you to understand how deeply irrelevant that is.

Sometimes what you said was just harmful no matter who you are while saying it. Being part of the group being harmed doesn’t tell me that what you said was okay. It tells me you’ll throw yourself and the rest of your own community under the bus for a scrap of approval from the people who want you and everyone like you to get hit by a bus. I don’t know why you expect me not to either be more pissed off or just start to pity you.

I know that HRT gives you secondary sex characteristics in one direction or another, but we HAVE to stop telling nonbinary people that they “can’t pick and choose.” Of course, you can’t tell your testosterone that you’d rather not grow chest hair, but there are things you can do!

You could go on T so your voice drops and start shaving so you don’t grow a beard. You could start HRT and then stop once you get the permanent changes you like. You can pursue sterilization instead of bottom surgery. You can get top surgery without being on T. You can go on E and work out a bunch to bulk out your muscles. You can pursue laser hair removal or electrolysis to remove unwanted hair, with or without HRT. You could even just start hormones to see if you like it and then stop if it isn’t to your taste.

Obviously, you can’t order secondary sex characteristics a la carte, but we have to stop being so awful to nonbinary people. We should discuss the options we have, not shut down the conversation with “that’s what you get.”

I don’t care if you disagree with any of it, we’re together now because there’s a greater cause to fight against than your little opinions about perfectly legitimate queer people.

If you are of any race and are being beaten down by these nazi fucks, you are with us.

If you are intersex, you are with us.

Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, the smallest religion rn? Guess what, if trump is hurting you when you’re hurting no one, you are with us. I don’t care if you think someone else’s religion isn’t true, no one should be in danger for it.
