Certain words can change your brain forever and ever so you do have to be very careful about it.
Saw Spiderverse earlier and can’t stop thinking about it. I understand now.
Love video games with endings that make you feel like your brain’s gotten permanently rewired in some sort of way
I - Inventor - How creative is their thinking? Do they seek out the opinions of others or rely on their own ideas? What’s their problem solving approach?
Sena is creative in specific ways, but I don't think he's creative in general - he might think outside the box during a fight as a survival / practical thing, but wouldn't have the patience for an art project or an elaborate strategy.
For the opinions of others, he actually puts a lot of stock into the opinions of the handful of people he trusts; in a lot of ways he sees himself as existing in relation to them, rather than by himself, and that extends to his antagonist arc where he's alone, lost, and lashing out. But he won't listen to like, strangers' advice without someone he trusts vouching for that stranger.
Problem-solving for him falls into either pragmatism (though not utilitarianism since he really only cares about his friends) or "I can fight it", to varying results. He's actually pretty observant and is quick to notice when things are off - though he could probably point them out a bit more tactfully.
As a bonus, since he curses a lot - most of his more creative curses are stolen from characters like SIdurgu or Estinien, because he has trouble coming up with his own.
Getting 50 hours into BG3 and realizing my first character doesn’t feel like a character and wanting to start a new playthrough
Piece I did last year for @daggerarcadia the FFXIV Art Bash on Twitter! Posting it here now too!
you may think you're a poser for spending your life struggling to imitate cool people you knew once in the hopes that the amalgamation of every funny quip and slice of good taste you've ever picked up from someone else will make you a millionth as cool and likeable as them, but really they're doing the same, and the people they're imitating are too. this chain goes on and on until it eventually ends at shadow the hedgehog
BEHOLD: a 118-page compilation of (almost) every scrap of lore about Ishgard I could find – its social organization, history, religious beliefs, and culture.
Every piece of lore is sourced with a footnote in order to make it easy to look up – and to tell canon from my informed inferences and wild speculations. This makes the doc a little heavy and slow to load; my apologies! To look up a topic of interest, I recommend giving it a second to load, then using Ctrl+F to search.
Don’t feel shy about getting in touch with comments and corrections! If you have a question about Ishgard that isn’t answered in the doc…… I probably don’t know the answer, since I’ve put everything I know in there, but I’m always happy to theorize!
Late upload, but Twitter got it, so - Artist Wrapped! The template is here.
