Awwww cute! ❤️🧡
But stop it. As if Lando had the pace....
This is growing up. Three years ago you could never have guessed Max nearly sent Charles off track all the way to downtown Austin before this pic.
It's time to reblog this here sadly.
Ao3 is a safe place for many of us.
write bad fanfic. write mediocre fanfic. write fanfic that a thousand people before you have already written. write niche fanfic. write fanfic that only a few people will read or understand. write fanfic just for you. write fanfic just for a friend. write ocs. write self-inserts. the fact that you’re taking the time and energy to put your ideas into the world is amazing and people who shame you for it need to find better ways to spend their time.
Well. Thanks god Adam and his father are here to let us appreciate good acting and a proper storyline and real life conversation, real conflict between teen and parents.
This season is a full utopia where kids talks like some 50 year old therapist, dialogues are empty but they somehow all find their way because Netflix has to cause actors left after that and I honestly understand.
I've been seeing some takes about how what Lando and Carlos did was unsportsmanlike and that we’re already dealing with RBR and AT being sister teams and we don’t need unaffiliated teams to start acting like they do, and that is it hadn’t been Lando then Carlos would’ve just done the same thing with someone else.
I call bullshit.
Something like this would have NEVER worked with Carlos and another driver. Why? Because the bond and understanding between Lando and Carlos is on another level. They know each other so well and that's why it worked. They're former teammates, they shared everything back in McLaren when it came to data and the way they drive.
They know each other so well.
I don’t even think people who are outside of the Carlando bubble actually realise this. Carlando isn’t just a work bromance made up for likes on IG and more engagement from fans. They care for each other, respect each other, love each other. They are collageus but that’s not what they truly are. They are friends, I might even go as far to say they’re the racing equivalent of soulmates.
Those saying that Carlos wouldn't have done it with anyone else are right. He doesn't have that level of trust in anyone else. It was amazing to see them understand each other without actually talking to each other. Carlos more than deserved that win after such a genius strategy that he came up with himself.
No one else deserved the P1 because no one else came close to his mentality all weekend.
Well.
You know what. The moment I told myself *Ok. It's done. Game over* is when Wilhelm told Simon he can't eat the cake to prevent him from food poisinning while Simon is eating it.
Unbalance power in life and in death. Simon's face says it all.
What people don’t understand is that the reason we hate RBR/Max’s dominance so much compared to other eras is that everything just feels so clinical and passionless and empty.
The current world champion doesn’t feel a single thing as he wins race after race and it’s so fucking frustrating because if he doesn’t care then why should we?
Schumacher lived and breathed this sport, Vettel would have married his car if it was legal, Hamilton felt every win like it was his first. And now the only emotion this fucking guy has is indifference, to the point where I honestly believe he’d rather be playing a video game than actually racing and it’s just depressing.
I didn't read the book. And clearly. You have to read it to understand a thing. It's fun, with jokes and comic situations that made me genuinely laugh. And I like the complexity of Henry but that's it cause we didn't have so much more...
Apparently, they have cut a lot of parts and characters. Well, clearly too much, because the chemistry between Alex and Henry is coming from nowhere. Like there's objectively no real story for 45 minutes but realisators visibly assumed book's fans would get it by adding all the missing parts (is it working?) Eventually, the result is that from an outside pov, the sex scenes are then a bit cringe cause story gave us no reason to believe.
There's an inbalance in acting between the two actors and it's really obvious and quite disturbing in the emotional scenes like during the Paris bed scene, the fight/argue scene. I'm sorry for the man who's playing Alex but he struggled to be convincing.
I don't like the "America saves us all" propaganda so the end was frustrating. Alex discourt came so randomly, I thought Henry would have talk more with his older brother and sister, I thought he would also do a coming out or something insteed of a balcony scene, cliché af.
But in the end, that was 2 fun hours watching it, it's cute.
