This could quite possibly be the dumbest idea ever but I can't stop thinking about how the Glowing Baby was only a year younger than All For One, and I can't help but wonder what would have happened if they had met before the internet had rotted All For One's brain.

Like, just imagine if these two met randomly one day and both had no idea who the other person was, for this literal sunshine child who's been in the spotlight since the literal day he was born imagine how wild it would be to meet some random kid who has no idea who you are. And for All For One I have no idea how he'd react to the Glowing Baby (honestly he'd probably try to steal his quirk depending if the Glowing Baby new how to hide his quirk) but imagine how he'd react to some random kid trying to get to know him and *gasp* trying to befriend him for no apparent reason.

I mean all that All For One wants is for people to see him so I imagine if someone did this he's eat all that attention up. And I just can't stop thinking about the possibilities, we know that the Glowing Baby was an activist when he gets older with thousands of followers so perhaps after awhile he'd even try to get All For One to join him, and just the thought of a social activist All For One is hilarious to me but I could see him do it just for the followers alone.

I just can't help but think about how funny this would be.

It'd quite literally be this dynamic and I'm all here for it, but yeah that was just a random thought that's been plaguing me since I learned about All For One's backstory so don't take it too seriously this is just my sleep deprived brain talking XD

I was doing some research on the attitude towards tattoos in Japan for ADKoT and I have expanded on a fic idea.

You remember my fic idea list for TWoT? Number 7 was: A modern AU where AFO has been secretly scaring off all of Yoichi's boyfriends. It's actually pretty easy as even without his quirk, he's still terrifying. Then one day, Yoichi brings a certain spiky-haired man home, and not only does he look like the rebel bad boy from every father's nightmare (very different from the previous nerdy cowards Yoichi's dated before), but none of his previous tricks can drive him off.

Well, the attitude towards tattoos in Japan is basically: "Hey, that guy has a tattoo" "He's in the Yakuza." This attitude is starting to change in the modern era, but these things take time.

Anyway, imagine if Second had tattoos and stuff, and AFO thinks he's in the yakuza and freaks out because he's actually the BOSS of a yakuza group and is worried Second will rat him out to his brother, who has no idea of about AFO's criminal business.

Second is not in the yakuza, he just got tattoos because A. He thought they looked cool and B. Third is a tattoo artist and he wanted to support his best friend's business. Really, he's just a rebel on a motorcycle with a heart of gold and secret soft side, which is why Yoichi fell in love with him.

But AFO doesn't know this. Cue shenanigans as he tries to prove that Second is in the yakuza without exposing himself as the boss of one.

One of my favorite things about looking at Yoichi on the MHA wiki is that his useless quirk has an official name:

Quirk Bestowal

Which is funny because -

A. They probably didn't figure out he could pass on quirks until after he died

B. Even if they did, they weren't called quirks then

C. Bestowal?!?!

So how and when did he name it?

Do you think the twins would have looked more alike without TTS? Maybe their appearance would be more in the middle than the two extremes they canonically are

hmm. interesting question. the TTS (twin-to-twin transfusion) syndrome is certainly cause for Yoichi's more frail constitution, but before AfO beefed up, AfO also had a kind of delicate, dare i say cherubic, quality to his appearance.

(i'm on the team of "they share the same nose, if anything" btw)

unanswered questions: how come AfO kept getting his hair cut short while Yoichi's hairstyle seems perpetually shoulder-length?? did the stress of holding so many vestiges cause premature hair loss for AfO?? was Yoichi never introduced to hair ties??

Es tan malditamente cercano al Canon, pero a la vez está tan malditamente lejos de el.

Villain Yoichi Concept:

AFO is greedy, right? He takes and if you don't have a use, you're dead. Unless you're a belonging, in which case, you are protected because you therefore have some inherent value.

But Yoichi is his opposite. And the opposite of greed must be good. Doesn't it? Well, the answer lies in One for All.

The user has to want to give it to someone, but the person receiving can't say no. Now, we apply that principle to a person.

Villain Yoichi, who gives away what he has with reckless abandon, and then calls upon you for a favor.

"But I can't-"

"I gave you that gift, didn't I? You owe me." (General guilt tripping)

Or maybe he forces it on you.

"I don't really need-"

"C'mon, I went out of my way to get this for you. It was really difficult to find." (More general guilt tripping, and after they accept it, we get the first scenario)

So, maybe Yoichi is a little greedy to get people to do things for him. But everyone has some greed in them, all it matters is how you use it.

"And I'm using it for a good cause," Yoichi said, green eyes so wide, skin so pale, he looked as if he would float away with the breeze as he stared, shaking, at the corpses of those he ordered on the mission for him.

"It doesn't matter if these people die. It's just like Big Brother said. All for a good cause."

Some OFA Previous Users thoughts I need to get out of my system otherwise I won't be able to properly function anymore

We know now that Kudou (2nd user) and Bruce (3rd user) notice that Kudou has a second quirk only after Yoichi's death. This means that Yoichi didn't pass OFA before that, but he did it while he was dying -Bruce asks if Kudou had contact with AFO, they they had no idea that Yoichi could pass the quirk. We also know that OFA can't be transferred without the holder's consent, so as AFO was pulverizing him Yoichi must have thought something like "i want to stay with Kudou" or something along that line and as he bleed all over Kudou's face, including his eyes, he unconsciously transferred OFA. So Kudou's tears are not only for the pain of Yoichi's death, it's Yoichi's quirk and will passing and creating the chain that brings OFA for the future.

Kudou says that the only thing that can help bring back Izuku from the dark spiraling he's gone into is "those who will with the same intent, at the same pace, continue to run alongside him". He says this like he speaks from experience, and I can totally see it happening to him too: losing Yoichi, inheriting OFA, having to lead the rebellion, deciding to shoulder everything by himself. But he had someone who was on the same page as him who kept him sane and helped him every step of the way. Who? Bruce. The third user -and probably the whole rebellion group- definitely is a mirror to the relationship Izuku has to 1A. We all know of the parallelism between Yoichi and Izuku and Kudou and Bakugou, so Bruce has a parallelism to 1A as a whole -and, at least in my eyes, to specific people of 1A (such as Shoto, Tenya and Ochako).

As Yoichi died, Kudou and Bruce had no idea of how OFA worked and how could be passed down. They definitely spent time to figure things out, and I do wonder if they had any type of conversation with Yoichi's vestige while doing it. I do believe they swapped blood instead of hair to pass OFA, and that it was Hikage that went with hair (since he was convinced he was dying for a illness and probably didn't want to pass it to Banjo)

Speaking of Hikage and Banjo, the fact that Hikage was in isolation for 18 years (or more. Was he already an hermit when Bruce gave him OFA?) and then decided to pass the quirk to a loud and brash man is very interesting on his own. How do they met? What was their relationship?

Banjo is bald. So what did he use to pass OFA to En? I hope it was his beard.

Izuku believes he will be the last holder of OFA since quirkless people are very rare to find nowadays, but we do know at least three people that are "supposedly" quirkless RN. One is Aoyama (born quirkless, got a quirk by AFO. We don't know if AFO's eventual death will cause his acquired quirk to vanish, but if he receive a quirk like OFA he may be probably able to hold it). The others are Hawks and Ragdoll (who got their quirk stolen by AFO, so their bodies are currently "empty"). I don't think he's gonna pass it to neither of them, but the Aoyama option would work great as a means to complete his redemption arc, so to speak. [There is also All Might, but I don't think he can get it back]

For the fairy tale ask game: how about a Little Red Riding Hood AU with some duoholders please? Second has red hair so he gets to be Little Red Riding Hood. Yoichi and All for One are both wolves. How you divide up the role between them is up to you.

Instead of quirks, people have started becoming werewolves. But it's all wonky so they just randomly transform instead of depending on the moon, and some of them (like the Shigaraki twins) keep some of their wolf features in human form. Anyway, Kudo bought in to the government's spiel about how werewolves are all evil due to his fear of dogs and works with them to kill them off.

One day, Kudo gets some time off and decides to visit his reclusive step-brother Hikage, who lives in the woods. However, what he doesn't know is that AFO and his pack have taken that part of the woods over, which is why Hikage hasn't visited him. Should he step out of the clearing, the wolves will tear him apart. (Also, he just doesn't want to deal with people) Kudo brings a basket of Hikage's favorite foods and wears a red cloak, because it's winter and he's cold.

Meanwhile, Yoichi is eager to move up in the wolf pack. You see, his brother (who is the pack leader) told him that they were fighting against evil people who destroyed the environment. Yoichi wants to play a bigger part in that instead of having to be protected all the time, so his brother sends him on what he thinks is a wild goose chase to bring the head of a trespassing man in a red cloak by sundown (it's morning). AFO doesn't know about Kudo and thinks that everyone knows that part of the woods belongs to him, so what idiot would wander the woods in an eye-catching red cloak?

Yoichi finds Kudo and attacks in wolf form. Kudo fights back by swinging the basket which leads to a container of strawberry shortcake falling out and spilling cake on the ground. Yoichi is curious, having only lived off the land and eats it. Then begs for more. A cautious Kudo keeps feeding him as they make their way to Hikage's house. There, Hikage exposes him as a werewolf and Yoichi transforms back but tells them his story in an attempt to convince them that he's good, only to hear that his brother is actually evil and the people he killed were because he wanted more land, not because he was trying to save it. Kudo is a bit distracted because Yoichi wasn't wearing clothes and looks adorable with wolf ears and a tail (none of the wolves wear clothes because A. they're feral wolves and B. their clothes rip when they transform)

They all snap into action when AFO comes by looking for his brother. He and Yoichi get into an argument and AFO blames Kudo for turning him against him so he tries to eat him, but only manages to tear off a part of the man's face. Hikage grabs a gun he's been saving should the wolves move in, and shoots him. Yoichi announces that he's rejecting the clan and he, Kudo, and Hikage run while AFO is suffering from the bullet wound.

Missed opportunity to dress AFO up in grandma clothes, but Second isn't stupid enough to fall for that anyway (still would be funny to see) Does AFO die? Idk, I mean the only thing going for him here is that he's pack leader. No quirks, just werewolves.

How did #OFA exactly transfer that first time? When even #Yoichi didn't even know how it exactly worked or if it was there at all?

And when he killed Yoichi, he didn’t expect himself to mourn because he was so used to having a stronger, more forced connection with people after death. It just didn’t occur to him that he wanted more than to make Yoichi submit to him (submission being. death.), he wanted Yoichi to live and be attached to him forever
