It’s not really that surprising that most of them don’t see anything wrong in living in such toxic environment, as they don’t know anything else, but its still hard to understand by other races. Even Vas, who didn’t like his position as a male in the Underdark and was more of a rebel kind, still can’t fully see how others might think it’s a bad place.
