I figured I'm not gonna get this done, so I'm probably gonna post it here. Just in case... A boss from hero's duty that prevents the beacon from being fired... Cause why not... Also explains most of King Candy's weird features... Also figured, since they transformed into a cybug without getting eaten, they have most of their mind... And eating cybugs is a plus...
A little fun alternate dimension idea... What if the hero was a doctor nefarious in some way... Making the Lombax and a robot... I never got far with it... Oh well... Reverse au?...mix au?... Either way, Captain Qwark is the bad guy and caused the accident. Basically... Now, nervous system and her squishy friend are looking for a way to get back at him and bring peace to the galaxy. Even though he's president now, and she's hiding in a robotic find and cleaning area...
