We understand the lights above the Arby’s. We understand so much.
Season one rewrite but Derek is like 20, and played as someone who is physically 20 but mentally younger because he was taken advantage of by a trusted adult, who murdered his entire family (almost) and he has decided this is his fault, and then went into hiding for six years with only his older sister to guide him, who wasn't even that much older than him so wasn't exactly Adulting in the adult-y way his mum did and so obviously he would be very stunted
Season one rewrite but Stiles and Scott have a lot more empathy for Derek because even if he IS the Alpha.. idk the kid is deeply traumatised and "Scottie if someone killed you, your mom and my dad I'd go crazy too" "Yeah.. me too I think - maybe not this bad but.."
Anyway
my friend mentioned armadillos and this immediately popped into my head for some reason
My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.
What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"
"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.
Hello! I'm just here for random things that make me happy - art, nature, fandom memes
