Faeries Looking Through a Gothic Arch by John Anster Fitzgerald (1819 - 1906)
Russians love to tell the world about the importance of religion and Christian values, and then they do it. They destroyed the Transfiguration Cathedral in the center of Odesa.
Time to clean caches (🛌) after a crazy, stressful and busy day preparing the pieces for the exhibition and after finishing all the details for the first concert of our audiovisual band Cemento Musgo, both at Ribela Love Nature Fest.
Piece: Elude
November is the month of poets, artists, thinkers, lovers and wanderers
i mourn broken walls that i have never seen,
i grieve graves that haven’t been dug,
i weave tapestries of bloody reds and regrown greens,
i mourn a fathers loss and a mothers hug
my heart pains for cries that haven’t been heard,
it searches ruins for hands not found,
my heart exists in the broken wing of every bird,
my heart exists in the thousand bodies that litter the ground
i exist in the ribs that poke through the skin,
i exist in the hopeful eye and the vacant one,
i exist in battles we can’t win,
i exist in the war that has been won.
i echo the sound of a mother who outlived her child,
i echo the sound of a sister left alone,
i echo the sounds of destruction and the wails of the wild,
i echo the sound of guilt in your hearts of stone.
i am the shame of your children, i am the question of humanity,
i am the victor, i am the resilient, i am everything you could never be.
i am humanity. perseverance. hope. love. resilience. strength.
from the river to the sea.
