Molly deserved better. She is just so kind and loving and strong and all in all a wonderful woman. Why would she even look at that pathetic sweaty man. I really hope she overcame all that shit that had happened to her because of Will. I hope she's happy. Make Molly happy and I'll die in peace.
I appreciate the fact that Alana was never an "I can fix him" type of woman. She was more like "He is too damaged for me to fix" and that is sad for Will but good for her. Must be nice. While Hannibal is like "i love him as damaged as he is, he doesn't need fixing, he is my perfect boo"
big fan of will graham’s gothic morally gray romantic hero fit from season 3a. this man was gutted haunted and aching inside but still served incredible amounts of cunt. iconic.
Spiritfarer x The Magnus Archives
Oliver Banks as the Spiritfarer made the most sense to me since he’s the End Avatar we know and love, so it makes sense he’d be the one to do this job. Plus he has a history with boats, it kinda works out.
Michael as a ferret at first didn’t have a love of thought behind it, but I realized that is sorta the point. He was an extremely not special guy, he was just a normal man, just a ferret. His lack of importance to the greater need of Gertrude was his tragedy, he was dispensable.
Jane as a pile of worms is due to her actual connection to the worms, but it’s even more than that. When I was figuring out whether or not I actually wanted to add her to I had to ask did she die with the wasp next or did she die in the archives, and that is the point of her spirit. She is this mess of worms trying to recreate a version of herself from before the wasp nest, someone who simply does not exist anymore.
Agnes is a peacock styled as a phoenix, to show how she was mythicized by everyone who met and knew her, but she was still always just a person, just an average bird with the weight of her prophecy on her shoulders.
I've been relistening to Red Valley season 4 (like a normal and sane person) and I just realized that the reason Warren came to the cryosuit in EP4 was just so he could find out what he did. He could've asked GORD to tell him about it literally anywhere else. And yet he came to Gordon to learn the one thing about himself he'd been the most terrified of. Because Gordon makes him feel safe. Because Gordon is the only person that didn't know and didn't want to find out unless Warren would be fine with it.
I guess Warren's finally made a decision to look together (I mean in a way??)
One day I'm just gonna start posting my shitty no context little to no spoilers reviews on horror movies and maybe I'll even do it in russian just for the sake of it being chaotic and way too illegible for anyone to actually read this shit. One day I might just become completely insufferable. Beware.
I officially enable anyone who wants to depict the Red Valley guys as twinks to do so. We all know they're not twinks. That's obvious, there's not a single character who hasn't made a remark on the appearance of Gordon and Warren. But we live in a weird and cruel world and sometimes you just want to draw your faves as twinks. And I don't really see the problem. The way someone depicts a certain character is up to that particular someone and nobody else. If you want to draw twinks then draw twinks. If you want to draw old men yaoi then do it. Whatever makes you happy and doesn't hurt those around you is great.
People really need to chill the fuck out. Especially when it comes to other people doing something that brings them joy.
Ok so I may be stupid. But I didn't actually catch the 'memory loss is a possible side effect' bit. Isn't it the side effect of BRYONY'S treatment? It's discussed in The Boat and the Bridger iirc. Sure, it has everything to do with Warren's PTSD but it's Bryony who was erasing his memory with meds. It's really convenient how he only forgot the criminal part of his life.
Not to mention that Warren didn't experience huge memory loss when he was brought back to Red Valley and he had A LOT of hypersleep. And I get that the technology probably improved with time but none of the people who experienced hypersleep in s3 had any problem with memory.
So yeah. I'm not sure about Gordon losing his memory. At least I don't think it makes sense with all the information at hand.
The only possible reason for Gordon to lose his memory in my opinion is the fact that he was given the degraded goo (sorry, can't for the life of me remember what's it called). But well, I'm no expert. I guess we'll wait and we'll see.
happy Red Valley season 4 to those who celebrate✨
