that reminder at the bottom is more of a guideline, rather than a hard rule. anyways color theory is really complicated but this is some good knowledge to build off of if its something you struggle with. 

also: if youre making a palette with only analogous colors/monochrome, the “stronger” color would probably be the lighter one, tho its often conditional.

also also: its generally more important to make an object a color that fits the palette, rather than a color that’s “accurate”. for example, tree leaves are green, but if making them blue fits the palette better, make them blue. if a certain color doesn’t fit the palette but needs to be used, desaturate it and it’ll blend in better. or hue shift it, or if youre working digitally, plop an overlay layer on top of it and its usually fine

Fellow epileptics, I have some fantastic news for you. There’s an add-on that makes the internet safer for us. It’s called Epilepsy Blocker. The creator had me test it out, give feedback, he made adjustments, and it works great. It may even help those with migraine disorders that are triggered by the same thing that messes with those of use with photosensitive epilepsy (mine is a case of being absurdly sensitive).

This is the only add-on I’ve encountered made specifically for those of us with epilepsy. It’s not a well known add-on, but I hope to see that change.

PSA for Switch owners

The latest 11.0 update means that Google Analytics is a thing on the switch and turned on. What that means is that Nintendo has a deal with Google to share with them your data for advertisement purposes.

To turn it off

go to the eShop

go to your profile where your funds and account info is

go down to the bottom of the page

there you will see “Google Analytics Preferences”

select the Change

select “Don’t Share”

Please spread the word. Really shitty of Nintendo to just quietly start allowing Google to spy on users for advertising.

... and... catch sight of the "freak" you spoke of... It lingers, just long enough for them to see it, to watch the black sludge trickle down its fingers, and then it is gone, vanished back within the painting.

The boys both stare up at where the arm had been, both much too scared and put off to say anything for a good while.

It isn't until Samantha speaks up again that they are broken free from their petrification.

... She, however, proves much less than unhelpful for the current situation, acting as though nothing was there. Nothing had ever been there. Nothing is.
