Recently, Discord has made some pretty jarring changes to it’s UI, specifics can be found here: https://t.co/OedvENyboE?amp=1

Essentially, Discord has boosted the saturation of a lot of their colours, which many people have found to be distracting at best, and outright harmful for neurodivergent and visually impaired people at worse. Though it may be unlikely that discord completely revert these changes (as seen on their twitter, their stance on this matter is that people should “Be one with the change”),  it is good to voice your outrage, and suggest that they at least give an option to toggle the legacy colours.

You can help bring up these problems to discord by filling out this accessibility support form, and/or by voting up these threads in the discord support forum:

Edit: please note that BetterDiscord is a third party application, and it’s not clear what discord’s official policy on it is! General consensus is you can use it, but don’t talk of it’s use or share screenshots of it in public discords.
