Hi, not apologising, bye.
Ok, I think that for Rediscovery I’ll make the actual chapters as finished, and add it to a series
colours? colours :) one of my friends generally wanted help on colours and i went. a little bit overboard and decided to just fully format it into a pseudo-tutorial
if it’s not clear what the first image is, basically what you do is merge all your colour layers multiple times to be shadowing and highlight layers and mess with their hue/luminosty/saturation levels, much like on the lineart colouring section. again, making it more saturated and more purple/blue for shadows and lighter for highlights.
don’t take it as gospel or anything it’s honestly just what i do to make it easier for myself due to having Joint Issues but i think it might just help people Without pain possibly do art a bit faster and/or experience less frustration? maybe??? ps. im aware this information probably won’t be new for quite a few people but there’s always going to be new people who didn’t know, so i don’t see the harm in posting this

so after a long time without drawing anything I managed to do a lil thing!
Have a bunch of badly drawn Mickeys
Two big squares and 71 small squares to go!!!
I have 80 squares left to do on 109... That's not even half
You know, when you create a culture (or makes derivatives/dig further into other created cultures), it isn't cruel to dig into funerary practices.
You want to write a part where a member of the community dies and receives funerary practices ? Just because you want to expand further into the culture? Then go for it!
Death is a strong part of every single cultures. There are so many funerary rites, going from burials to incinerations.
So looking further into such an important part of life? That is perfectly normal to do and to want to do.

The link is real, for anyone wondering, I checked the email again. However, I don't create much art and don't sell anything on redbubble so I just went and deleted my account (since, again, I'm overall not using it) and stated what I didn't in the update as the reason.
The link is this. So yeah if you're selling on Redbubble do fill it I guess.
Not 100% sure I'm reading this right but,
The tiers are intended to encourage actions that are positive for the marketplace and recognise and reward artists who invest time creating and promoting unique products.
Hum... Great, so if you wanted to have a redbubble on the side to make some money then you're basically not welcome???
And seriously I am in tears at that like wow. Basically, if you make enough money for Redbubble, the fee is removed. Basic tiers have to pay a fee, but premium and pro don't.
There's also the "opportunity to create licensed fan art" that bugs me because, there already was a list of things you could make fan art of depending on the list they have, but now you can't unless you have a premium or pro account? While (from what I've seen at least) most small artists make fan art and sell it because they know that there is a fanbase for it and that it will sell.
I do understand the copyright problem they face, sure. But the rest still is... not good.
Over the past few years the amount of new accounts and content has increased significantly on our marketplace. This has resulted in increased costs as we’ve needed greater investment in resources to operate the marketplace and support our artist community and your customers.
So yeah, increased costs that they will make the small artists pay for and subsequently make people think twice before coming on the plateform, or just leave it.
apparently ppl don’t know about waifu2x??? despite its… concerning name it’s literally the most convenient website i’ve ever come across as an artist
it allows you to resize artwork without it becoming pixellated. this is a MASSIVE help if you, for example, make lineart too small or something. it works best with things that 1. have no textures 2. have smooth lines 3. have cel shading, but it still works really damn well for things that don’t fit that profile
here’s an example:
normal size
2x in paint
2x in waifu2x
so like, there’s that. go wild
HE4S WALKING TOWARD GET AWAY GOOO RUUUUUUUUN
There are fics in there that I don't fucking remember writting it's wild
xey/xem French Don't be fooled, I'm a platypus, I don't much stuff (art side account)
