watched httyd 2 for the first time last night and Hiccup breaking Toothless out of the alpha’s control absolutely BROKE me

Hiccup saying "come back to me" and telling Toothless nothing was his fault

and then seeing Hiccup through Toothless's POV and he has tears in his eyes and his voice is shaking and his expression is so desperate and so loving

and then

"Please, you... are my best friend, bud. My best friend."

and the pure happiness and love on Toothless's face when he breaks free from the alpha's control
