as of 13:10 polish time, it has been said as many people as possible will be let through the borders. they are also supposed to let through children who do not have passports, as to not divide families.

being asexual is a really weird experience because most of the time you feel sort of normal, like there isn't even anything different about you, but then you're randomly hit with the realization that there is essentially an entire part of most people's regular everyday lives that you're missing out on. it doesn't make me sad or anything, it's actually kind of cool. it makes me feel like i'm some sort of spy who gets to analyze "normal human behaviour" without taking part in it. people are fascinating.

I don’t think I could talk about The Sandman on here because, like, Neil Gaiman is here, just hanging out. I’d be like “Oh, I like how they visualized this one scene, it was different from the comics but I don’t think they original comics visualizations would have worked in live action “ or whatever And then Neil Gaiman might appear like “Yeah, we were having trouble figuring out how to do that scene until one of our production designers had a vivid hallucination while eating a 3AM Gyro purchased from an all-night food truck outside the Bass Pro Shop pyramid” and I don’t think I’m ready for that experience. Alternatively, I could say “Dream is a little too scrungly to be a classic Tumblr Sexyman, but he is prime meow-meow blorbo material” and Neil Gaiman might appear and say “Yeah, we were having trouble figuring out the exact ratio of Sexyman, poor little meow meow, and Blorbo, but the final characterization appeared to Tom Sturridge in a vivid hallucination while eating a 3AM Gyro purchased from an all-night food truck outside the Bass Pro Shop pyramid” and I don’t think I’m ready for THAT either.

Money can save you from physical harm, but can it save you from looking ridiculous?

Aspecs still face oppression- medically, religiously, and in general. It's just not as wide spread and as known as other parts of the community. And I'm convinced that a lot of it comes down to a lack of visibility and representation

The LGBTQIA+ community is for people who deviate from the cishetnorm. Its for people that don't fit the image of liking the opposite gender sexually and romantically, while identifying as their AGAB.

Aros and aces don't fit into the ideal hetronormative identity therfore THEY ARE PART OF THE COMMUNITY

I think the reason why people would be pro-draco but anti-snape is for a few reasons.

Raising your own kid to be hateful and bigoted can be considered it's own form of abuse(something similar happened to Dudley. The point where this stops being abuse is when they're old enough/have the opportunity to gain perspective. Draco, Dudley, and Severus all get that change in perspective)

Reader's/watcher's can more clearly tell the driving force behind Draco's words and actions because it gets brought up all the time(up until book 5, reader's don't get anything except hindsight for Severus' story)

While Severus did change sides and redeem himself, he was a dick to most of his students and made it very clear that fairness wasn't a high priority(I understand that this was to uphold his reputation so he could continue to be a spy, and to try and counteract the Slytherin bias, but 2 wrongs still don't make a right or brownie points

TL;DR: Raising a kid to be a bigot is abuse, let's not play into trauma olympics. Severus' abuse and trauma didn't get enough page time Severus continued to be a dick post-redemption. Draco had his redemption at the tail-end of the series and didn't get time to continue being an ass or not

Do the “Draco was just a boy, Snape was an adult!” crowd realize that Severus is significantly younger in the books? Severus was only 20-21 when he turncoaked The Deatheaters and become a spy, the brain doesn’t develop impulse control and non-b&w thinking until 25 at the absolute earliest and prolonged trauma (which Severus had and Draco didn’t) physically damages the brain, slowing that process down.

Severus was groomed as a teenager (about the same age as Draco was) into a rising cult by an, at the time, charismatic young Tom Riddle who was at his height of manipulation and power. And Severus was canonically abused by a muggle man and by Gryffindors mercilessly his whole developing years. That crowd incessantly fanons that Draco was “abused” by his parents when he wasn’t but hate Severus like make it make sense.
