When you read fanfics, specifically on Ao3, let’s say a word count of about 12000, would you prefer it to come out over time, chapter by chapter, or all at once? I want to write a fic but I’m struggling in piecing it all together/finding time, so idk if people like one big one shot to just appear one day or if people enjoy waiting for chapters to come out

idk if this has been said before but a headcanon of mine (from my ✨personal✨ collection) is that before Hyrule met Legend he thought that he’d have a sort of Heman (He-Man???) build

Like this ^ before meeting him bc the legends were always saying stuff like “The hero of Legend could lift BOULDERS with his bare hands!!! He could run faster than an arrow 😤”

and poor Rulie always felt like such a fraud bc he was using power cuff and rings to aide himself

when he finally meets Legend and finds out he’s a slight malnourished twink that’s also been using magic items to aide himself he’s so happy and relieved.

there’s also something so special about being able to see yourself in your hero and finding out they’re not some perfect alpha chad but a genuine person who wasn’t ready to fight but had to blah blah blah

Christianity exists on Earth because of a long and complicated collision of history and pagan stories and then the death and resurrection of Jesus, a Jewish middle eastern man who was trying to defend his people against Roman oppressors. i know reasonably that Nintendo might’ve not expected that the Zelda series would take off so much so they probably put in some Christian iconology bc the Catholic aesthetic is kind of popular in Japan. It shows up a lot in anime too.

but now there’s a canon religion the series follows with a couple of goddess 😭

my only reasoning is that the Hyrule Christians believe that God is all powerful and that maybe Hylia, Din, Farore, Nayru are either angels or saints? More Catholic I guess

and maybe the hero of Time would be a Jesus figure?? His birth COULD be immaculate, we don’t know his parents. maybe Christianity comes from Calatia? Hylia I think only focuses on Hyrule??

in the Linked Universe I don’t personally head canon Hyrule or Legend to be catholic BUT. I think it would be really funny if they were

also Legend just REALLY gives me Catholic guilt vibes.

When I was a kid my grandmother would have me recite the “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep” prayer which terrified me as a kid 😮‍💨 I feel like Hyrule would recite it every night and it would kind of just unsettle the chain.

Bad always stays up at night, as he did for the last 2 months, watching over the base when most of the team passes out from exhaustion. Sometimes you can see Aypierre with him, pulling him to the bed since he knows he didn't have any rest even before the purgatory, Tubbo offering to switch places with him or Tina handing him a cup of tea and just keeping him company. Even then, he sits in place. His eyes glowing, looking for any danger or an easy pray. He really is their attack dog, after all
