Summer is almost over, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to deep clean for it! This is my deep clean for summer.
(Some of these things I do once a week, which I’m sure you can figure out which ones those are)
Clean out, wash down, and dust cupboards.
Disinfect and wash the entirety of your fridge-freezer, throwing out old and expired things.
Pull that fridge out (if you can, don’t hurt yourself!) and clean behind it and the sides of it.
Change drawer liners, if you use them.
Clean under the sink and organize any cleaning products you may keep under there.
Clean your windows, and window sills. (This goes for the rest of the house as well.)
Clean baseboards. (Again, goes for the rest of the house as well.)
Clean, organize, and throw away things in your pantry.
Organize your “junk drawer” and replace anything that may be in there that may be expired (batteries, for example.)
Donate, sell, and throw away clothes that may not fit you anymore, have holes/stains, you have no interest in wearing anymore
Wash blankets, pillows, and sheets. Put away your winter bedding and put on nice light bedding, keep cool, darlings.
Organize any clutter, and again, donate or sell.
Vacuum under the beds, and the rest of the house.
Organize your closets and chest-of-drawers.
Scrub the toilet, including behind it, the floor, and clean the tank (there are tabs you can use for this)
Scrub tub, every part, and scrub walls.
Under sinks.
Organize drawers.
Get rid of anything broken, empty, or expired
Clean car, inside and out
Scrub any spills.
Organize garden equipment.
Clear and organize shelving.
Get rid of any trash.
