Fabulous Fungi Frenzy was one of the best Genshin events in my opinion, not just because it was ridiculously fun and the story was good, but because it was legitimately hilarious to sandwich such a lighthearted event between absolutely devastating archon quests. Absolute insanity was happening, the government was falling apart, but no, you get to play Pokémon with a broke college student and a fox woman who runs a light novel shop. And every character has such wonderfully fun energy with one another that they felt like good friends in such a short period of time.

But I also HATE this event because they didn't let us keep Bongo Head. At least he had some cameos later on, Twirly Whirly stans (aka me) have been fed absolute scraps since then.

If the event comes back and it doesn't have Layla and Yae Miko as main characters again I am actually going to throw a fit. I need a full flagship event with them again, ideally also with Cyno and other Sumeru characters. Please, I am begging. And please, can it be voiced... if parallel worlds exist in aitsf then I believe there is a world where Hitomi and Manaka raised Iris together. bc there is absolutely no way Hitomi didn't have a crush on her. and I am choosing to believe this as a means of coping with the doomed yuri.
