Some random SVE headcanon:

Come to think of it, why not imagine Isaac growing something at home too? Sure, it's not a huge farmhouse like in Stardew Valley, or even a small plot of land in his backyard, but at least a few garden pots. It's both a little hobby and a nice decoration among the bare stone of his house and the steel weapons hanging on the walls. Maybe even a useful thing, since it's not uncommon to grow the same small bush of tomatoes or eggplant in a pot, so fresh veggies for salad.

But imagine for a second that our perpetually scowling and serious monster hunter is tending a rose or orchid. Or a violet? Even maybe a chrysanthemum or a ficus? That's very sweet of Isaac. And that's probably is a main reason why he keeps it a secret and no one (except Alesia who, probably lives next door to him) knows about it.

The parallel of Till and Ivan both giving up what they wanted most in the world for their crush's sake is heartbreaking. Till gave up on his chance to finally take his freedom because he couldn't leave Mizi behind. Ivan gave up his opportunity to stay by Till's side through sacrificing his life.

The objects of their respective affections would never have asked for them to do this for them. Mizi would never knowingly impede Till's bid for freedom. Till would never have asked Ivan to die for his sake. The gestures are powerful, but altogether unneeded/unwanted by the recipient and the consequences of those choices are irreversible.

If only they could have loved each other. They could have lived together outside of the aliens' control with the human rebels, and they would have been so fucking devoted to one another, man. 😭

I'm a big fan of the skk dynamic of them talking like they hate each other but their actions saying otherwise. And they would definitely never openly acknowledge those actions.

Dazai saying Chuuya’s hats are the tackiest, ugliest things he’s ever seen…but one day Chuuya notices a new hat amongst his collection that he definitely didn't buy himself, but loves the look of. He knows there is only one person with the audacity to break into a pm executive’s apartment.

During a joint ada/pm endeavour Dazai has a cold and is putting on the theatrics and Chuuya calls him a dramatic, whiny baby with the constitution of a wet kitten…but later on he stops by Dazai’s place with cold and flu meds and some soup he made himself. He bangs on the door to get Dazai’s attention and then leaves without saying a word before the door can be opened.

Chuuya intermittently leaving drunken voicemails angrily demanding Dazai stop using his damn card for his ridiculous and pricey purchases. But when Chuuya gets a new card when the old one expires he texts him his new card details with no context or explanation.
