hello march
November is:
studying, learning new things, passing all exams, skin-care, self-care, drinking lots of water, vitamins, workouts, pilates, and watching gossip girl.
I'm a firm believer that every woman of class should make it a habit to consume glamorous content: beauty pageants, couture runway shows, classical concerts and shows, sophisticated award shows, ballet and sports etc.
Since our environment largely shapes how we see the world and our place in it, it is crucial that we feed ourselves with exceptional content that can put us in touch with our own unique feminine, powerful, sophisticated side as well. This is especially true nowadays where class and glamour are critically endangered traits in a society that prioritizes constant comfort and at time, ugliness. These are societal trends we are NOT to emulate.
Books for Networking: The Culture Map
The Culture Map is one of the most interesting books I’ve come across. It talks about how people from different cultures understand, exchange information, talk and in a sense, build relationships according to their culture.
Erin gives out plenty of examples, and this book is light, fun yet very informative. 10/10, would recommend.
