never thought I'd ever cheer the warrior woman putting on a wedding dress but my god does war of the rohirrim subvert that in the best of ways
Another wip cuz I do wanna draw all the robins,,, initially was planning to wait until I finish the whole thing (this will never happen-) but I’m still figuring out what details to put for Jason since I’ve been trying to revolve the compositions around their costumes 🥲🥲
Thinking about aligning his symbol with the all caste tattoos and the negative space showing his robin phase,,,
Aaa they look so nice all side by side 🥹 Steph Damian next if my art block passes 🥲🥲
“Lungs, for example, was a total shambles. I’d decided I wanted my whole life to be like a festival: halfway up a tree, covered in glitter, high on E.” “Ceremonials was a big, silver-gray massive shard of life, a sword, quite dark and very bleak. But then my drinking at that time was pretty bad, and so I wanted to dress everything up in a huge cathedral of sound.” “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful was celestial and electric, because I was heartbroken and annoyed and determined to beat it all out of me. It was a very masculine record.”

why you should make your own clothes:
you get to destroy capitalism and the fast fashion industry, while also finally wearing whatever your heart desire the most (and also avoid having to look for the right size, and the entire concept of fitting a size)
My gay is showing.
physically im here, but mentally im listening to hozier and gardening in the backyard of my cottage with my wife
Look, it kills me, it absolutely slays me, that The Lord of the Rings isn’t a chosen one story when it comes to the One Ring. Yes, the ring was passed to Frodo, at first by the ring’s own choosing, but then came to him from the choice of hobbits. Bilbo wasn’t supposed to find the ring, wasn’t supposed to take it out of those mountains. And it was as if fate and magic had forgotten about the hobbits and underestimated them. And Frodo, that lad, that beautiful, strong lad takes the ring to Mordor! Not even because he’s a “chosen one” or has to. HE. DECIDES. TO. A tiny hobbit who had never known true adventure fought for the good in his heart. He chose to save Middle Earth. HE. CHOSE. THAT. Frodo’s story is all about choosing to be good, in the small things, the big things. It’s about showing everyone’s importance in this world. It’s about choosing to be better than those who would crush you, to fight against them, to fight for the good in the world. It’s about choosing that.
