iwtv is so fun because it's not really about vampires who happen to be gay. it's about gay ppl with personality disorders who also happen to be vampires
How else could you explain his hand feeding the audience? How words came out like canaries, summer fruit in the dead of winter? They were all in love with him. He had that effect on everyone.

Louis’s smirk grows as he witnesses Lestat’s silvery-blue eyes widen. His delicate pink lips part as he inhales sharply, his blackened lashes fluttering with several repeated blinks as if to confirm the reality of the sight before him. The phthalo green eyeshadow that Louis had anticipated encircles his wide eyes beautifully, contrasting with the paleness of his eyes and skin.
Lestat slams the dressing room door closed behind him and flicks the lock, still staring open-mouthed at Louis’s right boot.
Louis has a new pair of boots. Lestat is more than happy to take them for a ride.

In San Francisco, Louis seeks comfort in one of few things a vampire should not: the sun. Thousands of miles away, Lestat—plagued by the ghostly reminders of his failures as a maker, a father, and a partner—is interrupted by the voice of Armand with grave news of his ex-lover. Watching Louis walk away in Paris upended his life and has haunted him for two decades. This time, he knows that if he remains idle once more, he will not get another chance. A canon-divergent reimagining of September 8th, 1973 and the days that follow.
