Do you regret being only an acting coach and not an actor yourself?
"Okay, so you wanna get serious, let's get to it then."
"Yeah, I regret teaching people how to act. I don't want to teach it. I'd rather do the fucking thing myself. I'm tired of giving out my techniques to a bunch of those Riverdale mediocre actors. I've been dying to go out there and try it out again, but with what's been going on in my personal life, I'm going to need a stable job. Unfortunately, acting isn't that."

Her heart was hammering already, even before he whispered her name. He said it like a magic spell, like a whispered wish, like a… prayer. In those four small syllables she heard him asking for the world. And despite herself, she knew she’d give it to him.
She wasn’t surprised that he’d kissed her - she knew his heart well enough to have heard him ask - but she was surprised to find herself kissing him back. Pulling him close. She realized now that she’d been wanting to touch him all night, settling for fixing his hair and eating his food, when what she’d really wanted was this.
This.
She kissed him with a passion she hadn’t remembered she was capable of, but it came back to her easily now. Everything came back now. The body she’d long since memorized. This feeling, like lightning. And the knowledge of how completely and absolutely they’d always been able to overthrow each other.
Because, unlike with anyone else, with each other, they’d willingly given their power up, placing it in the other’s hands.
She could feel that happening now, and that’s what finally woke her. She couldn’t do this. She wasn’t the girl she’d been. She needed to keep her power now, because she had someone at home who needed her to have it. And Leo did, too.
She pulled away, maybe too slowly, and shook her head as she caught her breath.
“I have to… leave…” she whispered.
-
It shouldn’t have surprised but it did… the familiar nip and pressure that was her kiss was his again. she tasted just as sweet as he remembered. he couldn’t believe it. it made him even more responsive, more present to take all that she had bestowed upon him. When she reached out to him, he did too, holding her face to bring her closer. He had completely lost all thoughts that didn’t surround her.
a pathetic exhale left his throat when her mouth left his. his mind instantly crying out for more. More of what was once his. He pulled away as slowly as she did. His eyes fluttered open to look at the beautiful flush on her cheeks and lips. Hearing her whisper had knocked him out of haven that was created between their mouths.
“Don’t leave, stay… please.” his eyes heavy on hers, wide with longing. he swallowed, trying not to let his pride keep him from saying how he really felt. He wanted her, and he wanted to tell her this. He wanted to confess his love and win her all over again. But reality and fear cooked its’ way back to the forefront of his mind. She had left him before in a situation that was far worse than spilled popcorn. She had left him with scars that he was forced to cope with. Still, somehow, the notion of her leaving and him not seeing her again was far worse. “I don’t know when I’ll see you again.” His voice was coated in vulnerability as her kiss had brought all his emotions to the surface.
NEW GIRL (2011—2018)
SEASON ONE, EPISODE TWELVE The Landlord

Delilah could use any help she could get before the big opening next week. She took her job very seriously and this was her biggest chance to make it big in the industry. She dreamt of this for so long and messing it up wasn’t an option. She got a lot of good recommendations for one decent actor coach names Leo. She went to his class to meet up with him and work on her character as Elle Woods. As she arrived she had a big smile on her face, she was ready. “Hello, Mister Davis?” The Brit asked as she approached the male.Â
-
Leo looked up at the sound of his name. He was sitting a big desk with his nose in a book. He brought the book down from his face to down flat on the desk as he took in the appearance of who had disturbed him. He let out a low whistle taking in the image of the blonde blue eyed beauty. Such an easy casting choice this must have been. At least just by looks alone. He applauded that, but it was his job to make sure she was well equipped to portray the character. “If I’m not mistaken, Woods comma Elle?” he questioned, slyly quoting the movie. He shook his head quickly correcting himself. “Delilah Roche?" He asked and got up from the seat at the desk. He offered his hand out for a friendly shake. “Call me Leo.” He said introducing himself in his preferred name. “Now what brings you here? What do you feel you need to work on?”

They’d still been awake when the sun rose this morning. Ren had no idea how long ago that was now. Just after Leo had fallen asleep, she’d texted her boss to say she wasn’t coming in today, and then she’d joined him, sharing her pillow as they slept together - literally, this time. The sun was peeking in now, through the gaps in the curtains, making the remnants of sweat glimmer on their skin. She could feel his breath on her forehead. She wanted to stay here forever. Even if a tiny voice in the back of her head kept telling her that he’d leave, now that he’d got what he wanted from her.
-
“Serenity,” he murmured, his eyes barely opening up a squint before shutting again. His eyelids were heavy from the lack of sleep. He had really exhausted himself. Every single one of his muscles had tensed and relaxed repeatedly throughout the duration of their night together. He couldn’t believe the night to be true even as he was laying on her bed with her scent engulfing him with her skin upon his. He opened his eyes fighting against the fatigue to glance down and see that her eyes were already open. He shut his own again but in favor of losing a sense in order to focus on the way her skin felt on his lips as he kissed her forehead a couple of times. “Why are you up? What time is it?” He asked inbetween peppering kisses.
If you could hook-up with anyone, with no strings attached, who would it be?
"Oh, there's always going to be strings..."
Definitely Leo.

I can’t do this. I shouldn’t do this. I wouldn’t. Xavier just sat there and listened as Leo gave a million and one reasons as to why he shouldn’t audition. He let him go on, but really, he didn’t know why. No matter what Leo said, he had an answer for. He wasn’t going to let his friend back out of this. And besides, maybe if he felt so strongly, he didn’t have to audition for Roger. Just being backup in RENT was something, right?
“Leo… There is no future… There is no past. Thank God this moments not the last,” he started to sing. He couldn’t really turn this down, right? What was RENT if not a way to say #yolo in an epidemic. You still have time, don’t waste it. “There’s only us, there’s only this, forget regret, or life is yours to miss,” he stood up from his seat to move closer to Leo. “No other to road, no other way, no day but today.”
Xavier took Leo’s face in his hands to look him in the eye. “I can’t control my destiny. I trust my soul. Will you wake tomorrow from this nightmare? We won’t fucking know until you do it. There’s only now, there’s only here. Give in to love, or live in fear. No other path, no other way. No day but today.”
-
Leo parted his lips out of awe but this time just stretched into a knowing smile. Of course Xavier would know exactly how to fan the flames of his heart. His best friend was just as eccentric and playful as he was, but somehow, Xavier knew how to stunningly straddle the line between being too much and not enough. He watched him sing the beautiful words written by Jonathan Larson. Leo’s mind began accompanying his voice with the instrumentals he knew by memory. The music and lyrics made the intention of Xavier’s performance grow. Leo really should at least try. Because if not today, when? No day but today.Â
He looked down for a moment, only to feel hands on his face, and at this he had to smile again. He immediately looked back into Xav’s gaze, letting his friend caress his face as he sang RENT to him. If anyone were to walk in right now, they wouldn’t get it, and that is so them. His heart was appreciative at the effort to change his mind. His thoughts began to sink onto the possibility of just trying out. He was silent for one moment. Then he exhaled slowly, “Forget regret, right?”Â

Leo knew he had to keep last night a secret. He didn’t know why or how, it was just so blatantly obvious to him that he couldn’t tell a soul about what he had done. It was another tally mark to list of things he should feel shameful about. But the thing is, Leo felt like last night was the right thing to do. Every moment of it was perfectly placed. But now as he stood in the apartment of his baby mama while still donning his wedding ring, with his mind completely wrapped around Ren’s body... maybe there was some guilt he should immit. But he couldn’t find any, not while Blake was happy with Beau which was still much to Leo’s dismay. He didn’t like that his daughter had another man in her life that wasn’t him, but there wasn’t anything he could do. Realizing that he had been staring at the same spot on the ground this whole time, he decided to perk up with a question, “So have you had sex yet?” He blurted out.
It's 5AM, I'm nihilist, I know there's nothing after this.

brief history
the davis family is to put it quite plainly, a fucking mess. it started out fairly typical. boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, boy and girl get married and have a baby. and then that baby ends up in foster care as a toddler. oh wait, that’s not typical. just the short end that leo was given by life, and man did life continue to give him a number of short ends. let’s back track at little.Â
leo’s mom passed away when he was three years old. growing up everyone had told him she passed because she was sick. when he was old enough to find out what really happened, he regretted it. her autopsy had stated she had died from accidental poisoning, but he knew how to read between the lines. a young couple with a newborn in Brooklyn in that economy? leo’s poor father only made it three more months before he had succumb to his own vices, and figured his child was better off at some home ran by nuns.Â
now you’d think, okay, a toddler would have a fine time getting adopted, but it became clear that his terrible toddler years weren’t a phase. he had bounced around from family to family till he was deemed too old to be desirable. leo was generally a quiet kid until this burst of energy would charged right through him. then he was loud, uncontrollable, and almost unattainable. the nuns had claimed he was possessed, but without looking through the narrow eye of religion, it was clear he needed help. but even as an adult he had never found the help he needed. he still deals with inability to communicate his emotions in a healthy way. he chooses vices to keep them subdued. hell, his own livelihood is one to mimic emotion and make others believe it.Â
work
through everything, leo found solace in watching the black and white tv in the game room, and reading every bit of dr. suess and shakespeare he could get his hands on. he admired the way things always seemed to work out so well on the screen. how things were always so perfect when planned, written, and especially how they were portrayed. he was in love with that aspect and knew that he could act just as well.Â
he had success in beginning of his so called acting career. he was a vessel of pure potential. but even with a degree of performance arts from nyu, leo couldn’t be what they were all looking for. notes of being too aggressive, too intense, and too much had him fall back to teaching or live on the streets. he wouldn’t have guessed it but teaching all the ingenues and having their careers begin to bloom before his eyes was his own personal hell. he would watch as they took his advice and become far more than he’d ever be. the only thing that kept him going were three things. one, the money for he made was decent, and kept him comfortable in his townhome in manhattan. two, he could at least live vicariously. three, he could afford to forget it all at dive bar on the 9th.Â
love
somehow leo met his wife in a cinematic meet cute. it was perfect. too perfect. too perfectly easy. their love affair moved in a way where an outsider could look at them and fill in the passion that wasn’t there. at least it wasn’t there for him. he loved her but didn’t know if that love held any depth. but somehow he made her happy. he didn’t understand himself but he continued through the motions long enough for him to believe that there was something between them rather than connivence. he gave her what she needed to keep her happy. a ring and a home, just anything other than himself.Â
no, he reserved his true self for words on a screen. his affair was new and he didn’t deem it as an affair. he was seemingly just getting along with someone who understood him better. someone like himself. someone who wasn’t perfect and didn’t expect him to be.Â
