SOMETIMES HE just needed to get away from the high life. Especially with how many stressors had been piling up on him lately, Lucifer had been turning to cheap thrills to escape the things that had been waking him up in the middle of the night. Those thrills were found easily at his nightclub, but there was only so much disco trap music he could tolerate before it just started giving him a headache. Some dingy, nobody bar far away from the Upper East Side was a suitable alternative. At least it was today. The man wanted nothing to do with appearances today. He wanted to blend into the background, and find peace in doing so.Â
Get Lucifer Vale drunk or high enough and the limits of what trouble he would get up to became non-existent. Tonight, apparently, that was atrociously slurring through NSYNC lyrics with another patron, arm slung lazily around the other man’s shoulder as they swayed in very non-rhythm to the music. “Every little thing I do! Never seems enough for you!” he bellowed, as if the lyrics really meant something to him in that moment. He tapered off, pausing to try to peak at the lyrics scrolling at the screen, because he forgot them, and then quickly chimed back in, off-key and laughing. “Guess what! It’s gonna BE ME!”Â

Leo, Leo, Leo. The man had had so much on his plate, yet it was due to his own gluttony. He fed himself full of the sin: lust. This caused there to be only room for his other vice. Alcohol and lots of it. he may have met a boundary he hadn’t pushed before tonight. going with the flow with a new face in the bar. now here he was drunk singing and dancing with the devil of New York. “You got no choice BABE, but to move on, and you know, there ain’t no time to waaaste...” Leo did the run and said the lyrics without having to look at the monitor. Turns out even blasted, his inner love for throwbacks still had him on key. Did he believe he was carrying this song like J.C. did back in the year 2000? maybe. though he was slurring as much as his duet partner. “....baby when you finally, get to love somebody, guess what! it’s gonna BE MAY!” he sang out, feeling like he was some real stage and not some dinky small platform. he happily continue swaying to the snythnized beat that was begging for better choreography than what the two were giving. which was just two men huddled under each other’s arms.Â
but it suddenly wasn’t enough for Leo, who was feeling more and more like the little boy who had first seen the music video at one of his foster homes. leo over confidently flipped his wrists down with his arms up, micmicking a marionette. he took two steps to the right, away from his partner, to only fall off of the platform entirely. the echoing thud of the mic hitting the ground followed by the blump of leo’s body falling onto the carperted floor. then came leo’s wheezing laughter as he was met with a sudden view of the dive bar’s ceiling. he lulled his head to side to find the blurry face he shared the stage with.Â

She hadn’t meant to be gone so long. It had only meant to be five days, a week at most, but the mess and the chaos of the LA offices had kept her away for three weeks. She didn’t like being away from Leo for that long, not when she’d told him she would’ve been home much sooner. She had some serious making up to do…Â
She’d come home, unsure of when Leo would be back, and had been quick to work. The place had been left spotless by their cleaner, and decorated with vases of hydrangeas. Hana set to work, lighting candles, turning on and dimming down soft warm lights. She didn’t have the time or skill to cook what she knew Leo would love, so she ordered it in with a private chef - fresh lobster, tenderloin steak (ready to be cooked however preferred), duchess potatoes, an assortment of vegetables. Hana, being a pescatarian, would only be having the lobster.Â
As her chef preferred their food, Hana went to change quickly and top up her make-up. She stepped into a long white stressed, with a square bust and thin straps. All her jewellery - rings, necklaces, earrings - as always, were gold. Real gold. Combined with river pearls, malachite, moonstones, onyx. She saved her rubies and emeralds for more glamourous occasions. She had a spritz of perfume, scented with jasmine, and put on some music.Â
A Sunday Kind of Love, by Etta James. Classic, maybe a little cheesy but timelessly lovely.Â
She heard the door click open as she was setting the table, and felt her heart flutter. She moved to stand facing the door, wanting to see the expression on Leo’s face as he rounded the corner.Â
“Surprise.” She said simply, flashing him a smile.Â

Leo sighed, unlocking the door, he immediately expected to be met with utter silence as he had for the past twenty-one days or so. He tossed his keys into the decorate dish for them. But then he heard music which caused him to move further into the house cautiously. What or rather who he saw was not at all what he had expected.
“Vihana,” he breathed out as if he was holding his breath. His eyes immediately lighting up at the sight of her. He only focused on her even through all her handy work. The dim lighting and flowers and the scent in the air didn’t distract him at all from her beauty. Hell, he didn’t even spare a glance at her lovely gestures. Because she looked as she always looked to him, so beautifully unattainable. She was the queen to his lowly peasant. The God to his human. His leather shoulder bag was at his side like it always was when coming home from work. The only thing different about the man’s appearance was that he was cradling a pink box filled with berry cupcakes. That and his curly hair had gotten shaggier.
After the initial shock of seeing his wife, glistening and shining for his attention, he approached her quickly with a spring to his step. “You’re home.” He smiled, and immediately placed the box on the table and stripped himself of his bag, in order to wrap an arm around her waist. “You’re home, you’re home, you’re home.” He repeated, his voice ringing brighter with happiness each time. Leo couldn’t help himself and peppered her cheeks with tender kisses inbetween each phrase. Then finally he stopped to just look at her face. It was like she was gone for months rather than weeks. He gently cupped her face as if he was to kiss her. But words escaped him before he moved towards her. “I missed you.” His heart feeling as if it was soaring. This is what he had missed. This is what he was trying to replicate while she was gone.

Time was a funny thing. It moved without permission, and it’s conceptual speed varied from person to person. For Leo, since he had stepped off of the train with Blake, it had moved fast. He found himself falling back into a terrible habit that he had believed had let go of him months ago. But here he was being gripped hard by the habit or rather the person whom had manifested herself into an addiction. His addiction. Hearing her uneven breathing and feeling her fingers curled onto themselves through his curls, was only a fragment of the situation he was enjoying. Leo was positioned in between Blake’s legs and had been in some way since the day the two had reunited. And this time, he was laying on his stomach with his face buried between her thighs. he delved his tongue into her slit, lapping up the pooled juices there. leo’s eyes closed and he moaned at her taste coating his tongue once again. he was greedy for it. his nose and beard stimulated the sensitive skin as his jaw opened up wider to suck at her folds closer to her entrance. his tongue teased her hole and he tasted her more potently. it caused a vulgar moan to come from him causing him to purr into her slippery flesh. his hands acting like restraints to keep her open to him as he continued the motion again.
