She refused to be bored chiefly because she wasn’t boring.

“That is the worst question to ask me, it’s not fair. Horror films soothe my anxiety and with what I do, it’s basically a horror film marathon every night in my home. My top five have to be The Exorcist, The Original Halloween, Scream for how campy it is, The Conjuring and The Original Nightmare on Elm Street.”
“Horror films soothe your anxiety? You must go through a lot during the day, Doc. Why don’t you just hire me as your own personal therapist? I’ll charge a flat fee instead of by the hour.”
“So out of those five, which one would you rather experience and live in?”
i am being dragged into watching a movie and OFF the laptop so i will be gone for a couple hours maybe. please feel free to message me on discord (trixie tang 💋#5650) on here, or like this post and i will come to you!

Greer had nearly walked past the young woman taking some sort of apparent poll, but the small bit of movement caught the corner of her eye. She stopped in her tracks and looking back at the young woman who asked her a question as she removed an air pod from her ear. “I’m not sure I’m gonna be the most help,” Greer admitted, closing the few steps between the two. “The scariest thing I’ve watched recently was probably Trolls, and I think I was mostly just horrified that I didn’t have enough self-respect to just turn it off when it started playing. It just… sat there and let it happen to me.” She paused for a moment, lifting her shoulders into a casual shrug.
“But, um… I have to ask: what is Ghostface?”
Laurel couldn’t blame the other for not having that knowledge -- it wasn’t until she established her freedom that she delved more into pop culture and cult classics. According to her parents, if she had the time to watch a movie that time could be better delegated to studies. “Trolls wasn’t that bad. The soundtrack album sold out at Crossroads after the first week it as released in theaters.”
“But Ghostface is the serial killer in the Scream saga -- highly recommended. I’m thinking of even hosting a marathon party for it. It’d be a good way to start your horror movie to-watch list.”

Interesting. So what kind of pet is Einstein? And is it rude of me to ask why you named him Einstein?
Oh definitely Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Wasn’t that based on a true story? Anything based on a true story is scary. Ever seen Amityville horror? The1979 film? Gave me the chills. But yeah, you are definitely going to have to have a movie marathon. I’m due for one also. I usually do them around Halloween, but didn’t last year.
Einstein is my cute little American short-haired kitty that I found underneath the bridge at the marina. He couldn’t have been more than eight weeks old -- and it’s not rude at all. Honestly? I have no idea. It just felt right. Do you have any pets?
I haven’t seen Amityville. Horror movies are still somewhat new to me -- I wasn’t really allowed to watch them when I lived back home and the only time that I could was when I would sneak over to my boyfriend’s house. It’s weird that most people marathon horror movies on Halloween when you can really do it any time of the year. Like tonight. I could go back to my apartment, slip into something comfortable and turn on something that could make me pee my pants.

“I know it’s weird, right? I have no idea why but when I get in a weird place or need to unwind it’s a glass of red wine and a horror film. I mean, if you’re offering you’re in for one hell of a ride.”
“I think probably Scream? Like I said, the camp just gets me. Plus I have no idea what I’d do if I was left with someone possessed by a demon or whatever.”
“I’m offering only on contingency that you pay me every day you release your tensions. I gotta pay my bills, Doc.”
“Then again in Scream you can’t trust anyone because it’s usually the least likely person to be the killer. You’re always on your toes.”
thomas-nakamura:
“Do you mean other than street artists?” Thomas asked. “Is it bad if I say I discover them all on Instagram? I follow Pace Taylor pretty closely. They graduated with a BFA a couple years before I did. And, uh…. Becca Klassey for simple paintings. Anisa Asakawa? I’m sorry. Does that make me not an authentic wanderer?”
“How does one define an authentic wanderer?” She mused, wiping away the pretzel salt on her lips with the back of her hand. “Have you created any street art?”
liv-rivera:
“Mmmmm,” Liv moaned. She knew it was a silly question but she kind of lived this dorky shit. It was probably why she and LJ got along so well, they both thrived on random junk. “My money has to be Michael- I think he would surprise us and I think he’s bigger then ghost face. Ghost face will be too busy bouncing around and tire himself out.”
Laurel nodded in contemplation, listening to Liv’s justification. But then she pointed her finger at the other girl. “Who do you think is better in bed? Michael Myers or Stu Macher?”
