It may be an ugly sweater, but for Howzer, I would wear anything đ«Ą
Summary: You got matching ugly sweaters with Howzer.
Warnings: Suggestive language.
A/N: Sorry, wrote this in a bit of a hurry so it's a little shorter.
âI look ridiculous.â Howzer looks down at the sweater you got him.
âI think itâs cute.â You grin laying on the bed with your chin in your hand.Â
He looks at your reflection in the mirror, staring at you with raised eyebrows like âAre you serious?â
âIâm not wearing this.â He laughs. âItâs hideous.â
âThatâs kinda the point.â You shrug, grinning.
You were hosting this yearâs Ugly Sweater party and since Howzer had never celebrated Life Day before, you took it upon yourself to buy one. Unfortunately, he absolutely hates it.Â
Howzer sighs with his hands on his hips, turning around to look at you. âWill it make you happy if I wear this?â
âGlad you asked.â You get up off the bed and grab your ugly sweater thatâs identical to his from the closet.
âIâm sorry⊠You bought two?â He asks.
You laugh and shrug it on. âOne for you. One for me.âÂ
Howzer runs his hand down his face. âIf we are the only two people wearing ugly sweaters, Iâm changing.âÂ
âDeal.â You wrap your arms around his neck, kissing him. âThank you.â
âAnything for you.â He smiles, softly.Â
The party is turning out to be a success. Plenty of people showed up in ugly sweaters. There were a few who didnât. Wolffe had told you heâd rather be fed to literal wolves than wear what you and Howzer were wearing. Howzer had just laughed and said âOne day youâll understand.â and tucked you into his side. You had smiled proudly up at him.Â
You and Howzer have only been together for six months but you were absolutely sure that this man was who you wanted to spend the rest of your life with.Â
âYou know, youâre really starting to make that sweater work.â Howzer murmurs into your ear from behind you.
âOh yeah, the snowmen are really doing it for you, huh?â You smirk.
âLittle bit.â He teases, pulling you against his chest. âAs soon as the last person walks out the front door, Iâm tearing that sweater off of you.â
You gasp. âYou wouldnât dare.â
âI would⊠and thenâŠâ He kisses your neck before continuing his train of thought. âIâm going to burn it.âÂ
You canât help your little burst of laughter, making a few people look in your direction. Turning around to look up at your partner, you lean against the kitchen counter.Â
âYou are so dramatic.â You laugh.
âNot like these sweaters.â He takes a drink of his punch and you watch his Adam's apple bob as he swallows.Â
Maybe he was onto something with wanting to get out of these sweaters, but not for the reason he was thinking.Â
âI was thinking about something else for when everyone leaves.â You tell him, smirking.
He sits the cup down on the counter, caging you in between his strong arms. âDo tell.â
You lean in and kiss him on the nose. âMaybe later.â
Ducking underneath his arm and walking away, you turn back to smirk at him before going to talk to one of your friends. You know that heâs going to make you pay for it later with the way heâs smirking right back at you.Â
Either way, the sweaters are probably never getting worn again.

Captain Rex x Gen!Reader One-Shot
Summary: The war is over, and the Republic has won. Rex signed up for a matchmaking service and youâre meeting for a third date. Basically just Rex fluff and him being nervous and awkward lol.
Rating/Warnings: SFW with kissing, making out, slight suggestiveness.
Word count: 1800-2000ish
Authorâs Note: This is a two in one, baby! Not only is it a submission the the Clone Matchmaking AU @tcwmatchmakingau (pls read the other fics that have been submitted!) but also a prompt from @freesia-writes ! The prompt: âkiss me again, but- mphh" from the kissing prompts list. Idk how I feel about this one but I gotta get it out of my drafts.
Please enjoy and reblogs/comments are always appreciated. I just want to kiss Rex, okay? đ
Rex was pacing, his nerves almost completely shot. He checked the time every few seconds, subtly breathing into his palm to make sure his breath didnât stink. He smoothed out his civvies, hoping they werenât too wrinkly.
Shockingly to Rex, you had agreed to meet for a third date.
He was excited, yes. But also incredibly nervous.
Rex liked you.
A lot.
Rex never thought heâd get this far.
He didnât know what to expect when he reluctantly accepted the first date match from Right to Love Matchmaking Service.
Rex had heard about it from some of his brothers but wasnât sure it was for him.
Who would want a washed-up soldier? He also knew nothing about dating. Sure, heâs had a few quick flings and stolen kisses in the back of 79s when he was a cadet. But now, the thought of putting himself out there, looking for something serious while having strangers match him with another stranger⊠sounded like a recipe for disaster.
On the other hand, now that the war was over, companionship did sound nice. And a few of his brothers have had success with the serviceâŠ
He continuously tossed around the idea, a few times half-filling out the Holonet application before deleting it, the fear of the unknown getting the best of him.
Rex even walked by the building once, Right to Love flashing in neon lights, almost stepping inside before his nerves sent him in the other direction.
It wasnât until a few weeks ago, when Fives and Echo invited him to a âboy's night outâ for drinks, that he was convinced.
Or more like the alcohol did the convincing for him.
One drink turned into two, then three, and somehow the conversation switched to the matchmaking service.
Both Fives and Echo had girlfriends now, having met through Right to Love.
Rex has met them a few times, and they did seem like good partners, and Fives and Echo were happier than heâd ever seen them.
He was proud of them for moving on from the war and finding happiness. Rex couldnât help but feel a pang of jealousy sometimes, wondering if heâll ever get to experience that, too.
Rex mentioned how heâs been thinking about signing up for Right to Love, and thatâs how they persuaded him to fill out the digital application right there with them at the bar.
âAw câmon Rex!â Fives clapped Rexâs shoulder. âYou should try it out. Anyone is lucky to have you!â
Fives took a large swig of beer, slammed it down, and pulled out his datapad.
âThe application is easy. I donât know how they do it, but they work some kind of magic. My girl is perfect, the woman of my dreams. I donât think I would have ever found someone like her without them!â Fives shoved his datapad over to Rex, wiggling his eyebrows. âYou donât even have to go in person. Let us help you, vod!â
A few more sips of liquid courage later, Rex was pressing submit on his application while Fives and Echo cheered him on.
The rowdy night continued, and Rex quickly forgot all about it.
Rex didnât remember he followed through until the next morning when a notification chimed on his terminal.
He woke from his deep sleep, still recovering from the night before, reading the message with blurry eyes and a headache.
Dear Rex,
Thank you for choosing Right to Love Matchmaking Service, where everyone deserves the right to companionship!
We have received your application and are processing your submission.
A matchmaking representative will be reaching out to you shortly. Have a wonderful day!
Rexâs brain almost short-circuited, the hazy memory of Fives and Echo helping him fill out the form coming back to him.
Those kriffing diâkuts!
Rex panicked momentarily, not sure if he was ready for this. But he thought of how happy his brothers were, and maybe it was finally time for him to step out of his comfort zone.
Rex commanded battalions alongside Jedi in life-or-death situations, and yet here he was, afraid to go on one singular date.
To Rexâs surprise, the whole process was easier than expected. The representative that reached out to him was nice, eased some of his worries, and answered all the questions he had. At the end of the conversation, the representative said they already had a match for him.
You.
To his even greater surprise, your first date went fine.
Fantastic, even.
Rex was an anxious mess leading up to meeting you in person, but you were kind, patient, compassionate, everything he would want in a partner.
It was almost like this matchmaking service did its job.
The next morning after your first date, you commâd him asking to meet again, saying you had a good time.
Rex responded immediately with a resounding yes, hoping he wasnât coming off as too desperate.
Your second date was even better than the first, learning more about one another, and you talked for hours.
You both hadnât realized how late it had gotten and completely lost track of time. The restaurant you met at for lunch was now finishing up the dinner rush, you two the last ones in the eatery.
Rex walked you back to your apartment, and you hugged him as you said good night.
Maker, he couldnât stop thinking about the hug. How warm and soft you felt against him. How he could smell the faint floral aroma of your shampoo. How your eyes shined as you whispered good night. He couldnât stop thinking about you, Rex was completely smitten.
He was feeling the pressure now, waiting for you to meet him in front of the Coruscant Botanical Gardens where you planned to meet for your date.
Rex was low-key fretting about what came next. Another hug? Maybe holding your hand? A kiss?
Rex swallowed thickly.
He wanted to take things slow and didnât want you to feel pressured into anything.
If a quick hug from you made him feel this good, he couldnât even imagine what a kiss would be like.
He could feel his palms begin to sweat. Before he could spiral anymore, he heard his name.
You were walking toward him, a large smile on your face.
âHey, Rex!â You waved, stepping up to him. You stopped, hesitating for a moment. Little did Rex know, you were having the same thoughts. Maker, heâs so handsome, I want to kiss him! I hope he wasnât weirded out by the hug from a few nights agoâŠbut he agreed to meet me again so I guess I didnât scare him offâŠ
âIâve lived on Coruscant my whole life, and never been to the gardens. Funny how that happens sometimes.â You laughed.
Rex nodded stiffly.
âIâve never been here, either. But Iâm glad we can experience it for the first time together.â
You blushed at his words, Rexâs ears feeling hot at his admission.
You smiled again. âMe too, Rex. Shall we?â
The gardens were huge and seemingly endless, growing flora from hundreds of planets. Rex was able to point out some, recognizing them from the war. He was well-traveled because of it.
You enjoyed hearing him speak of his past, his brothers, and the sometimes downright insane feats he was involved with during the war.
Your conversation was always easy, like youâve known one another for years. You couldnât believe how perfect he was and how comfortable you felt around him.
Was it too good to be true, though?
You wandered for a while, keeping up conversation. You eventually sat on a bench in a massive greenhouse, admiring the lush greenery around you.
You were silent for a few moments, Rex wondering if this was his chance.
He wanted to kiss you. He was going to ask you. He was a soldier, no, a Captain, dammit! He should have the courage to do this!
Rex took in a breath, knowing he had to get over his anxiety and just take the leap. It was now or never.
You heard Rexâs inhale and you felt worry stir in your gut. Here we go, heâs going to tell me he doesnât want to meet again. The classic âit has been really fun butâŠâ
âIâveâŠenjoyed our dates.â Rex turned to you. âAnd Iâve enjoyed getting to know you. So, thank you.â
You raised your eyebrows, meeting his gaze, surprised at his comment.
âRex, you donât have to thank me. Iâve been enjoying them too. I like you a lot.â You fidgeted a little, blushing. Maybe I didnât screw things up!
You took your own breath, continuing.
âI didnât know what to expect when I signed up for the dating serviceâŠI went on some bad dates a while back and was kind of fed up with it all, you know? But Iâm glad I took the chance on you.â
Rex felt some confidence rush through his veins. âReally?â He asked.
âYouâre easy to talk to, kind, a good listener. Not to mention a complete gentlemen. Itâs hard to find that.â Your cheeks were hot at your own words, suddenly too embarrassed to look him in the eye.
âI like you a lot, too.â Rexâs voice was low, and you felt something brush against your hand on the bench, looking down, and saw Rexâs hand barely touching yours.
You moved your hand closer, and Rex took your hand in his. You thought your heart might leap straight out of your chest. His hand was calloused, yet warm. Comforting.
âYouâre brilliant, remarkable. Not to mention the most beautiful person Iâve ever met. IâŠIâm so happy I met you.â
âOh, RexâŠyou mean that?â Youâve never had a man say those words to you with such sincerity.
âMore than anything in my life. CanâŠcan I ask you something?â Rex was almost whispering. You nodded, eyes wide, wondering what he wanted to say next.
âCan I kiss you?â Rex was gazing right at you, his heart pounding in his ears.
Warmth blossomed in your chest, entwining your fingers with his. You couldnât keep the grin from spreading on your face, and Rex saw how your features lit up like the Tattooine suns.
âYesâŠRex. I thought youâd never ask.â
Rex could see the colors of the bright flowers that surrounded you in your eyes as he leaned toward you.
Rex stopped centimeters from your lips, bringing his free hand to tenderly cup the side of your face. Your breath hitched at the gentle gesture, your eyes fluttering closed in bliss as he shyly brushed his lips against yours.
For Rex, the world melted away. Did he die and go to heaven? Because thatâs how he felt when your hand moved to his shoulder, your unbelievably soft lips pressing back into his in a chaste kiss.
All of his anxieties dissipated, forgetting why was so nervous about this date in the first place, all he could think about was you and how lucky he was in this moment.
You pulled away after what could have been hours, your eyes hooded, looking up at him, smiling, realizing you were still holding hands.
âRexâŠâ The way his name fell from your lips, husky and almost sensual, ignited a fire in him. He wanted to hear it again and again.
Rex released his hand from yours, bringing it to your other cheek, cradling your head with both his hands now with such reverence you thought you might faint.
âWasâŠwas that ok?â He murmured, wanting more, but didnât want to push your boundaries in any way.
âYesâŠkiss me again, Rex. Pleas-mph!â Rex quickly slid his mouth against yours, still cradling your head as your arms wrapped around him, your words cut short by his lips.
The kiss was deep, passionate, just like him. You sighed against his mouth, Rex using the opportunity to sweetly lick your bottom lip, politely asking for entrance.
You eagerly obliged, excited by his newfound confidence. His tongue entered your mouth, eliciting another satisfied sigh from you and a groan from Rex. Your body to trembled against his in fervor, feeling his muscles flex under your hands.
Your lungs began to burn, needing oxygen but not wanting this kiss to end.
Your mouths moved as one, gripping one another like you were the last two people in the Galaxy.
You let out a small whine as Rex pulled away, both your lips swollen from the intensity, your faces flushed and your bodies on fire.
âWowâŠâ was all you could mutter, as Rexâs hands fell from your flushed face. âThat wasâŠâ
âIncredible?â He mumbled. You nodded in agreement, leaning into him. Rex wrapped his arm around you, still seated on the bench.
âIâve been wanting to do this since we first met,â Rex admitted, his thumb slowly caressing your arm.
You were quickly turning into mush seeing this new, romantic side of Rex emerge.
âMe too.â You couldnât help but giggle, giddy at what had just taken place.
Rex brought you into him, embracing you in a hug, silently thanking his brothers for making him take the plunge and sign up for this dating service.
âI think weâve seen enough plants for one day. Want to come back to my place?â You asked, nuzzling against his chest. âWe could make dinner and watch a Holomovie?â
âIâd love to,â Rex answered as you looked up at him. âIâd really love to.â Rex hasnât been sure about much since the war ended, trying to find purpose and meaning in a new Galaxy.
He was sure about one thing now, and it was you.

AHHHH I NEED MORE đđ„°đđ„°đđ„°
Authorâs note: Some fluff between the smuts and what is more than likely going to be the first part of an ongoing series of loosely tied together Echo one shots because I love him and have zero self control. The planet in this is loosely inspired by the CCSD footage for season 2.
Summary: Omega decides to play matchmaker.
Relationships: Tbb!Echo/Fem!Reader
Warnings: None really, other than Omega being a little devil and some fluff
Words: 2227
Echo had spent time on planets of pretty much every common climate one could think of. Though out of them all, tropical planets would have to be his personal favorite. He never had the time to enjoy it when he was part of GAR, but now that he did...
The sound of water hitting against the beach, rustling of tropical plants in the wind, and that fresh smell of seawater. It was pleasant, unlike the constant pouring rain and storming heâd gotten so used to on Kamino. Part of him had considered taking a dip in the ocean, though he wasnât quite sure how exactly his menagerie of cybernetics would react to the salinity in the water.
They also had far more important things to do than trot around like this was some sort of vacation, even though heâd caught both you and Omega dipping your feet in the water twice already. Tech had scolded the two of you saying there was multiple carnivorous creatures in the water of the planet and to get out, though you were both pretty sure he was just upset you were just taking a break.
Echo had actually just spotted the two of you quickly drying off your legs and admiring some shells youâd both picked up, and Echo decided to keep quiet and help you avoid Techâs ire. Hunter is fixing one of their blasters while Wrecker is attempting to bench increasingly heavier and heavier crates. Meanwhile Tech is working on a personal project, while also looking over whatever study material heâd given Omega awhile back.
Overall things just feel, nice.
For at least five minutes it doesnât feel like everyone is hot on their heels, trying to gun them down the minute they have the chance. Echo is just relishing in the time to just breathe.
At least until youâre no longer the one keeping Omega entertained, and she wanders her way to him while heâs halfway underneath the Marauderâs control panel in the cockpit. She peers around attempting to see what heâs doing, and Echo takes a glance to see her standing there. The bottoms of her trousers are wet, from where the waves lapped higher than expected.
âHas the âcarnivorous wildlifeâ decided to take a chunk out of either of you yet?â Omega rolls her eyes, remembering when Tech had said that not long ago.
âWe didnât see anything, I donât get what heâs so worried about.â Echo adjusts underneath the control panel.
âYou two better hope thereâs nothing, or thatâll be one awful âI told you soâ.â Echo canât help but laugh at his own little joke, before watching the way Omega shows off one of the shells sheâd found on the beach. She pulls out another youâd found and given to her, admiring the way the opalescence shines on the inside of the shell. Omega had lived pretty much every moment of her life stuck in a lab on Kamino, and still found so many things exciting and brand new. You enjoy doing those things with her, and Echo finds it endearing.
âThatâs what she said, but I donât really think she believes Tech either.â Omega puts the shells back in her pockets and watches the way Echo had quite visibly perked at your mention. If he was interested before, he very much was now that you were part of the conversation. Itâs hard for him to help himself from doing, even as he attempts to busy himself with working on this mess of wires.
âYou know,â
Omegaâs rocking back and forth on her heels, hands behind her back while wearing a curious and hopeful expression. Echo hums in acknowledgment of her, but she doesnât have his full attention yet.
âShe really likes you...â
Echo crooks his torso to the side and looks out from underneath the control panel and gives Omega an almost sympathetic look.
âYeah, sheâs nice.â
The sentence is short, but he means no snide undertone to it. You were nice; Nice to all of them, all the clones before everything happened, to him. Even after Skako Minor when heâd scared the life out of you with the way he looked so different. Nice to all of them after theyâd dragged you into this mess, someone who wasnât even part of GAR to begin with. Omega however seems displeased anyways, and her knowing smile goes away replaced with a furrowed brow.
âNo, not like that,â Echo turned away to work on the ship, though he does give her a glance from the corner of his eyes that reads unimpressed and a bit suspicious.
âI mean, she likes you.â
Omega emphasizes and leans in closer, though once again fails to get Echo to give her anything but yet another shake of his head.
âSheâs just nice, youâre reading too deep into it.â Sheâs a kid, Echo just figures sheâd managed to watch a cringey holodrama for teens on the net in their few moments of downtime and now has all these silly ideas in her head. Meanwhile Omega crosses her arms and looks over her shoulder. Youâre talking to Wrecker, and with him being so loud youâre completely distracted.
âI know that she draws a lot of art when weâre in hyperspace,â Omega takes a cautious step closer so she can be quieter, meanwhile Echo adjusts to try and get a better angle on whatever heâs fixing. Thereâs a cord deep inside the control panel he needs to get to, but it requires him to really reach inside...
âI saw what sheâs been making; Most of them are of you.â
WHAM!
Finally, now she has Echoâs interest. Almost too much of it however, as Echo suddenly knocks his head into the underside of the control panel with a grunt of pain. Omega looks almost concerned for a moment, before Echo asks:
âShe does?â
The pain hasnât even faded from his forehead, but heâs far more interested in this. He canât help it; Canât help the weak spot he has for you, and the way his heart slammed against his chest at the idea that youâd been watching and drawing him when he hadnât been paying attention. How you found anything inspirational about him he had nary a guess, but in a way that is so hopelessly love struck he canât say he minds in the slightest.
âYeah, when we were walking on the beach yesterday she was talking about how she really likes you and that-â Echo turns to try and look at her more face on, even if heâs still on his back. He just hopes that his face doesnât visibly show how surprisingly warm it feels on his cheeks.
âOmega⊠If she told you something in confidence-â She quickly moves her hands to shush him. He feels he makes the right choice in telling her to not gossip, but Echo canât help but really want to know what youâd said.
âI didnât say anything! I was just, telling you that she makes a lot of nice art.â Sheâs clearly hiding a smile, even if sheâs attempting to hold a stoic face.
And while Echo thinks he probably shouldnât be, he canât help but feel his heart race a little faster a the idea that you might maybe like him. But thatâs something heâs thought for awhile, long before theyâd ended up here.
Omega seems to use his silence as the perfect time to leave, trying to find something to maintain her curiosity now that sheâs dropped this heavy tidbit of information onto him.
Echo silently gets back to work, letting out a long but quiet sigh. Thereâs so many things to get done, and he hasnât the time to think about silly things. As he does so he takes note of the peaceful quiet in the ship, though there is sound not long after.
Thereâs footsteps coming closer, and he can tell by the pattern that itâs more than likely you. Your voice speaking up affirms the suspicion, and also increases his heart rate dramatically.
âYou two have a good chat?â Echo reaches for another tool with his good hand and hums, seeing your legs standing beside his own. You soon decide to sit down, cross-legged beside his knees now more at face level for him.
âYeah, just told her to watch out for the carnivorous wildlife.â If he was anticipating the sentence to get a reaction out of you he succeeded; Watching your face and seeing the way you sigh and rub your hands against your face and groan.
âOk, if one more person mentions this I swear I will actually go insane. The one in a million chance of getting wounded by a rogue carnivorous fish has become the hot topic of this ship for far too long.â
He laughs at the way you clearly seem to be at your wits end when it comes to that whole thing, and you both stop talking for a moment until Echo does finally speak back up. It takes him a moment to find the way he wants to word this, and hoping it doesnât come out completely love struck.
âShe uh, did tell me something.â
You hum, perking up a little as you look at him. He stops working on what heâd been doing for a moment, pulling out from underneath the control panel to sit up and look you more head on. Thereâs a little bit of something, probably lubricant, on the side of his cheek that he hadnât noticed yet.
âShe said that you, were making art of me.â he says, and your face instantly starts feeling boiling hot.
Echo was never supposed to find out about that! It was just some dumb thing youâd been doing to pass the tons of boring time in hyperspace, and that youâd probably delete and pretend never existed. They were a sign of your hopelessly bleeding heart and feelings, and not something that Echo was ever supposed to hear. Though the absolute embarrassment you let out a tense breath of air through your nose.
âI swear, that little-â You cover your mouth with your hand, feeling more than a little bit embarrassed. Part of you wants to just run, but youâd have to come back here anyways, you couldnât just become one with the wilds.
Youâd just, casually mentioned it to Omega, and in that moment had completely forgotten that she might end up telling him. The way Echo had said it sounded like you were a creep staring at the back of his head non-stop, which was exactly the opposite of what you wanted to be to him. Youâre so stuck reeling in your own embarrassment you almost donât hear Echo speak again.
âThat was stupid I really shouldnât have said that-â Youâre shaking your head and hands, squeezing your eyes shut and sighing.
âNo no itâs fine just, Maker now you probably think Iâm creepy or somethin-â
âNo!â His sudden outburst startles you, enough so that he quickly backtracks.
âI mean, no. I donât find it creepy. I think itâs kind of flattering, actually. Didnât think I was anything worth doing art of.â Itâs nice to hear that he doesnât think youâre weird, but his self-deprecating attitude is a little concerning.
âI think you are.â You say, voice quieter than it had been earlier. Echo laughs, rubbing the area when his skin meets his scomp link attachment.
âWell, youâre the first then.â
Heâs smiling at you, and you canât help but smile back even as your face grows hot. Youâve always had a bit of a crush on Echo, ever since you first met him, so you canât help but feel your heart flip in your chest.
Interrupting your moment is the distant sound of Omegaâs voice, demanding someone to âkeep outâ. Her plea seems to go largely unanswered however, as both Hunter and Tech push by her anyways, and see you and Echo sitting on the floor in the cockpit. Tech is just here to grab something and leave, meanwhile Hunter lingers.
âUp to something in here? Omega was really keen on keeping us all out.â You were going to scold that girl for sure, but also sneak her a high five for letting you get this moment along with Echo.
âOh, us? Nah weâre not up to anything.â
Hunter doesnât seem to be entirely convinced, but lets the topic drop. You turn back to Echo and smile, covering your mouth as you try not to let out a laugh. Once Hunter leaves you both alone again, you move to get onto your knees but not leave quite yet.
âIâll go help them and leave you with, whatever youâre working on down there.â Echo partly doesnât even remember what he had been doing; Most of the time heâd been too distracted by the thought of you.
Before you move to get back to your feet you lean inward, putting one hand on Echoâs shoulder and leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek. Itâs afterward you quickly get up and scurry away, leaving Echo alone again.
Echo swears he can still feel your soft lips on his cheek, even know he logically knows it isnât the case. His throat his tight and he swallows, laying back down to try and get back to work.
Echo was already having enough trouble trying to keep his head on straight but now? Knowing that you felt the same as him?
Heâs absolutely fucked.
He deserves some good sleep đ€
He do be sleeping tho

fancy helping me pay for my wedding? | commissions. | ao3. | wattpad.
being a comfort officer for the 501st had been a rollercoaster of a ride, but one you had enjoyed so far. the members of the 501st had all fallen for you, but there was somebody in particular who caught your attention: captain rex.Â
currently, rex's cock was in your mouth as he squirmed underneath you. his cock was so far in the back of your throat that you were gagging for air, however rex's delicious moans kept you from coming up. rex was completely at your mercy and you were loving every second of it. you see, rex was the only submissive member of the 501st in the bedroom. the captain would submit to you completely and without question. rex's love for you was pure and unfiltered and he told you that every time he saw you. but that was for another time. right now, you bobbed your head along rex's cock and revealed in the sounds he made. "oh maker, y/n," he groaned grasping your hair in his hands. "can't take it anymore, need to be inside of you."Â
you pulled off his cock with a 'pop' sound and nodded, a smirk gracing your lips. you loved it when he begged for you and he was so close to begging. you turned around and shimmied your pants down your legs until they pooled at your ankles, shaking your arse at him teasingly. rex could let out a slow moan as he reached for the plush of your arse. taking each cheek in either hand, he squeezed tightly as he admired the way you filled his palms. his cock was so hard, it was hot to the touch and beads of pre cum were now dripping down his shaft. you turned around again to look at rex, still smiling. "poor baby, do you need me?" you asked teasingly. rex's throat was dry and all's he could do was nod as he swallowed. you obliged, pushing him down onto your bed and crawling on top of him. you teased him by grinding your pussy against his thigh, coating it with your wetness that had accumulated just from sucking him off.Â
rex sighed and grasped your hips. "please," he begged.Â
you cocked an eyebrow at him. "you know better than 'please'," you smiled, still grinding against him.Â
"y/n, baby, i'm begging you," he pleaded. "i need you to ride me. i need it."Â
"good boy," you whispered before making your way up to his cock. you aligned it perfectly with your cunt and slowly lowered yourself down on top of him. you were being so slow, rex was desperate to thrust himself up into you to bottom out, but he knew better than that. the last time he did you had tied him to your bed post for hours and made him watch as you brought yourself to orgasm again and again. "maker, rex, you're throbbing."
"i wonder why," rex groaned as he rolled his eyes at you. you slapped him slightly, causing the captain to look at you with wide eyes.Â
"don't give me sass," you growled, before plonking yourself down on his last inch quickly.Â
"holy fuck," rex moaned out, throwing his head back.Â
you let out a chuckle and began to move your hips up and down, your pace agonisingly slow. "you like that pretty boy?" you whispered, bending down to give his lips a quick peck. rex nodded, eyes glossy and wide as he looked up at you. his eyes trailed down to your breasts, watching as they bounced with each bounce you did. it didn't take you long before you were quickening your pace, already bringing rex to orgasm. his eyes told you exactly what you wanted to know. "gonna cum rexy?" you asked cockily.Â
"y-yeah," he whimpered, fists grasping the sheets beneath him. you laughed and continued bouncing up and down, eager to make the clone captain cum in less than a minute. you made a few more movements with your hips before rex was a stuttering, moaning mess beneath you. "cumming y/n-" he screamed out, letting the others in his squad know you were fucking him senseless.Â
"my my," you whispered, slowing down as he came inside of you. "you made a mess pretty boy."
"'m sorry," he whimpered. rex's eyes were glued to where you were joined, watching as you lifted yourself up off his cock, his cum dribbling out of you.Â
"my eyes are up here," you snapped. rex's eyes shot up so he was looking at you directly in the eye. you were smiling sweetly at him now, watching as his face softened.Â
"sorry love," he mumbled. you bent down, eye-level with his cock and put it in your mouth once more. "w-what are - ah - you doing?"
"sensitive?" you choked, mouthful of his cock. he nodded in response. "oh i'm not done with you yet, captain," you purred.Â
boy, was rex in for a long night.Â

YâALL THIS IS MY FIRST FANFIC EVER!!!!!! I am so excited to finally publish my first story on Tumblr. I have been inspired by everyone in the The Bad Batch community to write this story <3
@zoeykallusâ is one of my favorite creators on this website! I was inspired by her to work on this.Â
Warnings: Mentions of death and grief (takes place during Order 66)
Word Count: 700
Summary:Â Â Echo and reader knew each other before Order 66, and kept a long distance friendship (although they both had feelings for each other). After Order 66, the reader goes silent - leading the Empire to file her as deceased. Echo was devastated by this information. Rex recruits reader and the Bad Batch for a mission. Echo and reader are reunited after many tribulations.Â
DECEASED?
"Dawn S. - DECEASED."
Echo couldn't believe what he was reading on his holopad. He began to pace around the Marauder; Hunter could feel Echo's blood pressure and heart rate increase.
Echo's chest rose with every breath he took. Tears are rolling down his prominent cheekbones onto his chest plate. His breaths were becoming louder and uneven, which concerned Hunter. His bodily strength gave out. Allowing himself to finally feel- his tears turned into a river, sounds of a broken man escaped him, and the pain he felt covered his entire being. Consumed by the grief of not only losing the woman he loved from afar but also losing the last best friend he had before the Citadel.
Omega, not understanding his grief, wanted to reach out to him. Her small hand making its way to his shoulder was abruptly held by Hunter. Looking up at him with a confused expression, she saw her brother looking at her with caution. Silently communicating with her that it was not the right time to comfort Echo. Behind Hunter, Omega focused on her other two brothers. Tech kept looking at the ground while Wrecker was shedding tears on behalf of his brother's loss.
Echo's legs were spread while his back was arching into the lower bunk. The painful sobs he released were felt by every soul in the Marauder. His squad allowed him to let out the pain he felt, which he was thankful for in the future.
Not knowing that his other half was alive.

Coruscant (Order 66)
Dawn found herself at the Jedi Temple while Clone Force 99 assisted Kanan Jarrus at the last minute. She enjoyed seeing younglings grow stronger and was fascinated by their relationship with the force. Her loving gaze turned into one of concern as she heard clones running into the room armed. As she was about to ask whether the temple was under attack. The clone trooper attempted to shoot at the closest youngling by his side. The Jedi master and Dawn were too late to save the youngling but made their way to the clone trooper- easily defeating him, he fell to the ground. Dawn had her blasters out, shooting at the Clone troopers from behind while the Jedi master took the front clone troopers. The Jedi master and Dawn were ushering the children out of the room.
The clone troopers were too much for the Jedi to handle all alone. They kept this method for quite a while until they encountered too many at the front. Dawn finished them off and reached for the dying Jedi. The last words she heard were, "Protect them⊠run away ⊠far from here."
Dawn's head looked down as she felt a weight on her lap. The Jedi master entrusts her with the lives of her younglings by protecting them with their lightsaber. Dawn doesn't hesitate to turn on the lightsaber as she and the kids run away. They found a window where they could go down and hide (the fall is pretty high, but they are using force). She stayed in the back, ensuring each child would go down safely. She heard shouting from afar and ran towards the noise, fighting back against any who tried to harm her and the children. She was wounded by three shots but kept up the fist fight she began with a clone. Her back was facing the window, which gave the clone the idea to push her through the window.
Her scream was deadly as she flew. Feeling the pressure from gravity surrounding her prompted her to close her eyes. Waiting for the deadly impact at the bottom of the Jedi temple. A place where she began working and developed multiple friendships with the people who attempted to kill her that night. Remembering the good times she had with a particular clone, someone to who she never had confessed her love. The biggest regret she had at that moment.
Dawn abruptly felt the force hug her as she landed peacefully on the cement. Looking around, she found the eyes of the kids she swore to protect.

Dun, Dun, DUN!!! How is it so far? Any feedback??!!Â
THIS FIC NEEDS TO BE FOUND AND READ đđđ
you guys, I need help finding a fic! I'm not sure if it was on here or AO3, but I remember there being a oneshot about Fives and Echo babysitting little Leia after the war. It was an AU where everything turned out fine, no order 66, but I think Echo still had his prostheses. Echo and Fives had moved into an apartment on Coruscant as roomies, and had finally won the raffle to take care of General Skywalker's kids. And little Leia manages to sneak off and breaks into the neighbor's apartment via the connected patio. It was an Echo x reader fic too, where the reader is the neighbor, if that helps!
