I think Teen!Clay would try his best to avoid Teen!Danielle, not because he was disgusted by Danielle, but he (Clay) was disgusted in himself (Internelized Homophobia) So, Clay thought that by avoiding Danielle, Clay was saving Danielles soul from "eternal damnation."
Oh yeah. Teen Clay feels more disgust towards himself that he does towards Danielle. He *wanted* to kiss danielle, he wanted to be with him but. He feels like he is doing something wrong, by doing this he is "ignoring God's wishes" and everything he's been taught, his "morals" and whatever.
He felt nauseous and in danger so he. Did what he thought was the best, he didn't want to hurt Danielle, but you know. Teens

do you feel like the sunglasses have the same significance as they did before? because now it just feels like its just glasses? and not YOU? because i think of you i just think of the ranboo we see now, the glasses dont correlate anymore ? im curious on your perspective on that
Whenever I see the glasses I’m just reminded of how damn foggy they were all the time bro my insecurities prevented me from SEEING
