Bro have u seen hbombs stream where he react to grians s7 world tour? The chat were crazy over this stuff that I just rolling in the floor, laughing hard

you know what gets me about dream smp fans reacting to hermitcraft? all the “what do you mean people don’t grief bases/murder each other relentlessly/steal whatever they like??” stuff

because there have been many, many more minecraft smps that are fairly popular on YT for years, and (to my knowledge) the vast majority of them, past and present, operate closer to hermitcraft. like, i don’t regularly watch any other smps at the moment but whenever i’ve heard about them it seems like they’re more like hermitcraft? so it’s odd to see dsmp fans acting like hermitcraft is the outlier, when in reality, a smp where the players grief, steal, and kill with reckless abandon while heavily immersed in role play is the strange thing.

this isn’t hate or anything, i have no problem with dsmp or people who enjoy that play style! it just kinda weirds me out that there’s a whole mass of people who think dsmp is the normal way for a smp to function, cause there are so many other communities built on friendship and cooperation like hermitcraft is, and they’ve been around for far longer than dsmp.

i’m not asking or expecting dsmp fans to watch a bunch of other smps, not at all! but please understand that in terms of minecraft smps, dsmp is the one doing things differently to the rest of YT, not hermitcraft.

I'm getting EVO flashbacks

He's turning into an actual Watcher

like- the Watchers on EVO-

c!Grian used to hate The Watchers so bad 'cuss they tortured him and the EVO guys and they kidnap him so that they could turn him into a watcher themselves. They tortured him once he become a watcher too, Grian hated it so he use his powers to escaped the watchers and got into the world called 'Hermitcraft' and sealed it so the watchers couldn't find it.

And of course things happen

He eventually got found by them, they abducted Joe hills so that he come back, he sacrifices himself for the hermits, the hermits didn't like it so they tried to save him. Eventually grian and the watchers got into a fight mode, and he won the fight against them.

And now, much, much later, I think Grian's watcher nature finally starts to consume him as he started this SMP and as a result 3rd life SMP becomes his place to experiment with players without Grian realizing it.

He starts to turn into something that the hated the most

I just thought about it now I think it would be very cool to make a whole story out of it :v

I don't have the talent tho, but for those who do, it would be fantastic to add this to the continuous Watcher!Grian Lore

Since I loosely headcanon Watcher Grian to be running 3rd Life as an experiment, I’m choosing to believe that, due to its magic and enclosed nature, none of the souls can leave the barrier until somebody wins the game.

Because of this, their restless spirits wander around the server. Grian is the only one who can see them with perfect lucidity, everyone else has only caught the occasional glimpse.

The fact that Martyn InTheLittleWood has a tumblr isn’t what frightens me, I think a fair amount of youtubers had one back in like 2010-2016 when it was considered a primary social media

It’s the fact that A) I don’t think it’s hidden under a fake or unrelated name and B) he’s been on it recently enough to see 3rd Life posts about him like oh god he knows
