Hello, I know it can be annoying when they send you messages, because they've probably already asked you a lot, but...what happened to the cursed amuled comic? did you cancel it?

Hey, to all the concerned folks out there!

First of all, I want to relieve you all and say, no, The Cursed Amulet is very much not canceled.

I have been busy with irl stuff and art school. You know how many project they give you in here? Whohoo! I've got my hands full!

But fret not, I haven't forgotten about my comic, I am actually writing a script for it as we speak.

Ever heard of the advice "Go big or go home?" Yeah, no, it does not apply to comics or just long-term projects in general. Or, at least I really hope it doesn't, because I bit much more than I can chew. :D I was winging it with a vague, unfinished script, I beg you, please don't do that. Of course, you can change it, tweak it and improve whatever you need on the way. The important thing about writing a script is figuring out the overall plot, ideas, which ones make sense, which don't, and what do you want to tell us with your story. I kind of skipped the first step, so I'm taking a step back.

So, with my deepest apologies I ask you to stick around, because the comic will be continued!

I wanted to post the next page for my comic last week, but school is taking sooo much time. I'm drowning in school debt. I haven't touched my tablet for a whole week! 😭😭😭

Okey, I did take it for a moment. I felt so much joy opening procreate and seeing the page's sketch. But I drew only 2 lines! 2!

I can't last a day without drawing, my lord, this is torture T^T

I can't wait to graduate.

The names are kind of ridiculous, but I'm used to most of them. But I can't get over Sticks. I really can't. I mean, you can STICK(S) 😏 around to see that. (I'm never going to get tired of that joke. never. 😂)

At least Sonic is not "Sounds". Because it is what "sonic" literally translates to in latvian. But-- C'MON! STILL!

Don't you sometimes get an absolutely extrodinary, mind blowing, such an awesome idea for a story, but you just don't have enough skill level to pull it off?

Just to make a point, every time I finished a panel of this I would export it as a PNG on the perceptual setting and use it as a color reference for the next panel

PLEASE CHECK YOUR COLOR SETTINGS

EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why
