I've had a vision

The One Who Waits laid in the center of the stone circle, wide eyes staring vacantly at the sky. Well, The One Who Had Been Waiting. Now, though, that was all over. He wasn’t sure who he was anymore. He felt tired, weak, and so much smaller than he used to be, but he couldn’t think about that for long; he was quickly distracted by a strange, almost musical sound. What was it?
Birdsong, he realized. He hadn’t heard it properly in so long, he’d nearly forgotten what it was. Through the crown, he could sometimes hear a tweet or chirp on the rare occasions the Lamb had chosen to rest, but to hear it in person with undivided attention was different. The sun's warmth seeped into his fur, a sensation he hadn’t felt in a thousand years. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, then opened them again as he breathed out. The sight of the sky, too, was distantly familiar and yet at the same time seemed brand new. Fluffy clouds drifted slowly through shades of orange, yellow, and blue, the hues of a new day.
“Hey there,” a soft, familiar voice greeted him. He didn’t bother looking up; he’d know it anywhere. “You alright? I know the portal can make people dizzy.”
“You spared me.” He said plainly.
A brief pause. “Yeah, well,” The Lamb shrugged as they sat beside him. “Sorry, but I didn’t feel like killing you.”
“Hm.” He hummed. “…You are forgiven. Truth be told, I didn’t ‘feel like’ dying.”
He could hear them release an amused puff of air before a set of cleft hoofs gently took his paw and began tugging him up. He allowed them to pull him into a sitting position and finally looked up at their face.
Their gentle dark eyes twinkled like a clear night sky as they gazed down at him. “Well, get up and start living, then, Narinder.” With that, the rags he’d been wearing became a crimson tunic by their powers, just as his old name was made new again by their sweet voice. If they had killed him before, they’d now allowed him to be reborn.
Perhaps this was the freedom he had yearned for.
Perhaps he could be happy here.
Based on this screenshot I took:
This man is so ready for retirement from godhood.
anyways take heat waves seriously. heat strokes and heat exhaustion are real. drink water. wear sunscreen. stay covered or in shaded areas if you can. pay attention to your skin - if it’s super flushed and your face is redder than usual, get under some shade and cool down IMMEDIATELY. pay attention to kids and elders too.
cuz they live rent free in my mind…
