more worldbuilding time.
outsiders as I said are magic in a mundane world, but in appearance they look almost human. (After all, they have to look SOMETHING like the creatures in the rest of the heresy). they all have some sort of human form, with a distinctly unique inhuman trait such as mushrooms growing out of them, fire like eyes, or devil horns. due to the inherent dangers of their magic, they often only form smaller towns or villages with many choosing to be completely alone.
insiders are monstrous in appearance but lack the variety or magic you would expect from monsters or darkners. while a monster may range from a loox to a moldsmal, an insider will always appear as a goat, rabbit, deer, or squirrel. believing in strength by numbers, they form sprawling civilizations without borders.
did this while thinking about the multiverse implications of deltarune. Outsiders(left) live in The Heresy, a location similar to earth, but the outsiders themselves are more akin to darkners or monsters. Insiders(right) are human-esque but live in a world of magic known as The Home.
ok reblog/reply and tell me what character or person you think this is. no wrong answers
okay so inscryption is a game i really enjoy so decided to come up with a custom mechanic for it! (I have an idea for a scrybe that uses these cards, but they aren’t done yet). So, without further to do, tension!
all tension cards are seemingly “free” in that they can be played immediately but have a cost of 1-4. if the cost of all cards on your side of the board is over 4, you shall take the excess number of tension points as damage to all of your cards.
your side deck is full of various mechanical cards that aid in tension management such as “tension jars” that increase the maximum.
a 1-cost card would be like a squirrel or empty vessel, maybe a skunk. a 2-cost card would be like a stoat. a 3-cost card would be like a wolf, and a 4-cost card would be like a bear. this means that to play a four damage card, you must leave every other lane open.
let me know what you think!
A quick note on the new HP game: I see a lot of people saying "Just pirate it, then!"
And that makes me... Really, really uncomfortable.
Yes, piracy keeps some money out of her pocket... But it still keeps her relevant. And more important than that... Well...
If you still want to play Harry Potter and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion after hearing about its plot, its gamergater dev team, and the gameplay footage of your character's pet slave and room full of taxidermied Jew goblin heads...
Then, as a Jew, I don't fucking trust you.
This should repulse and disgust you. It should make you actively hate the idea of playing it. The fact that you're totally okay with it as long as it's not funding transphobia? Speaks volumes to how little you understand Jewish issues or care about Jewish people.
reposting this here from twitter:
from ~45:13 (sausage falling in the rotisserie oven) to ~46:46 (the music glitch stopping) theres like really bright flashing colors as an LED light malfunctions in universe
theres luckily an easy audio cue to tell you when it ends so you can tab out, and nothing visually plot-important happens in the scene, but i did NOT catch any sort of strobing light warning at the beginning and it super caught me off guard. stay safe yall
My spouse and I just had one of those “wait your brain works HOW?” exchanges, and now I am BURNING TO KNOW HOW IT WORKS FOR OTHER PEOPLE:
Fellow speakers of this feral bastard language (English), rb and tell me in the tags: what is the delineation for you, if any, between evening and night?
okay let’s be fond. reblog this with your favorite post/art/fic/poem/etc made by the person you reblogged it from!
actually the thing abt matt murdock is there's stories disney could maybe (maybe) tell with some competence, like there's stories that can almost survive that degree of mass-appeal pro-establishment toothless passionless bullshit, but. daredevil? matthew michael daredevil murdock? if you disneyify matt he isn't matt anymore. daredevil is about the kind of bone-deep inextinguishable rage that ableism sparks and kindles in you. the way someone gets violent when violence is done to them ad nauseam. all superhero stories shld be about stepping up because you can't stand not to, but daredevil is that dialled up as far as it'll go
like. matt's whole deal is he is much more viscerally aware of the terrible shit most of us ignore, and his worldview means ignoring it is allowing it, and he is so incredibly traumatised. if a daredevil story doesn't piss anyone off it's a bad daredevil story. daredevil shld look u dead in the eye & say 'what are you allowing? what could you change?' because yeah matt is an insane person going above and beyond but he's trying to singlehandedly fix a community cuz if he doesn't who will. daredevil shld say solidarity with its whole chest.
dr chapter 2 but i fantasy it the fuck out
