a religion, fandom, etc. is a symbiotic organism. It can still be in the wrong by attacking others or taking more than it gives, but it in the end holds some interest in the group of people that keep it running.
a cult is a parasite that ensures the hosts can’t even move, and makes them feel like only the parasite can understand them, making them not want to move.
not my experience but feel i should boost this PSA.
it feels like the average true crime fan’s perception of a cult involves like. wearing hooded robes and doing sacrifices
dr chapter 2 but i fantasy it the fuck out
I know I already rbed a more in-depth post about it but here's another warning that there's A LOT of flashing lights in the batman 2022 + some harsh noises, both mainly from sirens and gunfire
I'm mainly hypersensitive to sound but I still had to close my eyes in the theater at one point because of like stark white/black flashing in one scene so if you want to go see it please be careful
Why do you like leshy?
Leshy my good friend is four am so I'm not the most clear or trustworthy in answer but he reminds me of my late grandpa in certain ways and he's my friend and I don't know what he serves the winner player but he's trying and he tried with the other Scrybes and he really tried and there was like no malice in end and he just wanted to play and i want him to dm a campaign so bad is unreal and I just accidentally deleted like 20 words so yeah

Dog woke me up again im a big more clear, he manages to sit in the realm of familiarity just enough that I care much more about other traits and the fact he puts so much care in his story telling is so good. Amongst other things, him actively perceiving the player positively makes me very happy
yknow ever since people realized tumblr isnt dead and have decided to flock here from twitter and tiktok ive seen a huge influx of people in fandom spaces who dont reblog anything. at all.
like, i used to have an art blog with 340 followers. not a ton but not a small amount either given how this website works with creators. and in my experience back then even the ones who only left likes still reblogged other things or at least posted their own stuff. literally the only empty blogs were clearly bots.
but on this New art blog, i've had so many people with fandom-specific headers and icons with actual usernames as urls and some kind of title or description, but have. Nothing. no posts. all they do is like things. and it's always public, too. their following list and their likes list.
and honestly all it makes me think is that these people are New and also don't know how tumblr works. how likes don't give exposure. not even in a "oh, i know it doesn't give exposure, but i'm still going to reblog anyways" way, but in a genuine honest to god straight up doesn't realize tumblr likes don't work like twitter's.
PLEASE please if you're from tiktok or twitter or whatever please reblog people's art both fandom and original if you like it!! and maybe actually pad out your blog's content in some way so people won't potentially see you as a bot and block you.
REBLOG ARTIST'S WORK. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THEY GET ANY ATTENTION ON THIS WEBSITE OH MY GOD. PLEASE. I BEG of you
Hmmm just remembered something I've been wanting to say for a while
I think the big issue the fandom has with the tea theory is that they seem to jump to either extreme instead of simply accepting that Kris likes Ralsei… a normal amount? He scores slightly less than Noelle, whom Kris has known all their life but from a distance, and a lot less than Susie, who is obviously their favourite (best?) friend by Chapter 2.
Kris likes Ralsei like a normal friend. But it just doesn’t fit the thoughts of the Ralsei-is-evil theorists, or the wishes of Kris x Ralsei shippers, so it seems like this plausible middle ground was just completely swept under the rug by the fandom.
As a reminder, Kris has known Susie and Noelle pretty much their entire life. Even if they weren’t friends before (for Susie), they’ve still grown up in the same town and gone to school together. Ralsei really stands out from that, as a Darkner they know really not much about and whom they literally met yesterday in-game. His score is really, really good considering it’s only 10 HP less than a lifelong friend.
you ever have a cool fan content idea, then think to yourself “ok so if I post this then people will come to my house and write ‘cringe’ on my forehead”, but also know that that won’t happen, and the idea will not leave your head?
yall look at this shit ad*be is tryna pull now on ppl who have outdated software:
(note for context: i’m all for piracy, but in this case my copy of CS6 was downloaded years ago when they were giving it away to students. i got it totally legally.)
I'm sorry this is one of the funniest tags that's ever been left on one of my posts
It's not wrong to like something about you, or feel confident about a talent of yours.
Learn to like yourself, cause hey, you're pretty cool.
