I really wanted to share one of my favorite parts from "The Star of Misfortune" 🥺

While I was drawing the book there were a couple of moments when I cried from emotion and this was one of them🥲

demisexual Xie Lian is such a peak concept because I can just imagine him for 800 years being like "ha! this celibacy thing is so easy! people think this shit is hard?" and then he gets to know Hua Cheng and his brain turns into a 404 error message trying to decipher the strange new witchcraft that has consumed his thoughts.

Bones: And then Ash said if we try to make a rocket in the library again, he'd tell Alex!

Eiji: Well, he did make some really good points about libraries...

Kong: Are you even listening to yourself?! You're defending the library now? You?!

Bones: Eiji, it's the library! Of all the horrifying, miserable things in the world!

Eiji: Some people like libraries...
