I don't know who makes these kinds of photo edits (though one is watermarked), but I love them.
They really explore a stark contrast between vibrant, magical ponies, and a world that's bleak, dark, and often depressing; often showing the conflict between the two as well.
I would totally watch a show that looks like this. I'd make a show that looks like this, if I could.

I want to surprise people with suddenly opening up my computer to them seeing these. I want to acknowledge and bask in the self-aware absurdity of liking a show about magical cartoon horses. I want to make them feel oddly worried about me.

Shadowins, creatures that only exist in pure darkness.
At night, alone, in a dark room, they would often pretend these creatures are secretly looking after them, protecting them from whatever else hides in the shadows.
The large bird was their favorite. Warm and fuzzy on the inside, but still looks horrifying to whoever else comes across it.
